parked aircrafts

same problem,i am still trying to find a good answer but not luck.

if i play single missions airports are full of planes,but in modded campaign no plane appears parked at the airport,just some c 130's or helis

i have already changed ground objects on ultra.

and also put parkedchance at 100 on airfields,ini  any clues??

the game generates the parked aircraft automatically, via the Options/GroundObjects/setting

extracting each airfield ini and raising the ParkedChange= to 100 will (ok, should!) create more parked birds. It also causes overlap issues with the larger aircraft (c-130s and up, including any add-on transports & bombers)

why it's not doing it in campaigns, which should be using the same in-game setting for objects is something I don't know the why of!

What campaign and terrain is this?

In the terrain ini file does it say NavalMap=TRUE?

And in the campaign data.ini file, under [CampaignData], does it say NavalCampaign=TRUE

 

I have often found that I get no parked aircraft on airfields in naval campaigns, but I do see them on the same terrain if the terrain and the campaign are not set as a naval campaign.

Don't know why.

Don't know why.

Was in desert 4 and Germany ce. The two campaigns has been modded by me and yes i can see the Planes on the carrier but on the ground only big Planes sometimes. If i set naval campaign off what Can happen?

Try setting the terrain INI  to NavalMap=FALSE and in the campaign data.ini file, under [CampaignData], set NavalCampaign=FALSE

You won't be able to fly off a carrier, but you may get parked aircraft on the land airbases.

Thanks i tried both false in terrain and campaign too but nothing...this thing is driving me crazy, empty airports leaves a lot to immersion....any other advice on how to solve this frustrating situation?

Wheter parked aircrafts appear in game has nothing to do with a campaign or with NavalMap=True or False.

The parked aircraft are defined in the terrain, especially in the xxx_airfield.ini.

thanks gepard.already tried to put 100 on chance,but on campaign no planes...only in single player. in stock campaigns no problems but when i modify one ihave this issue and i don't know if it is just me or anyone experience the same with modded campaigns

In a campaign the squadrons are operating from airfields. In the data.ini of the campaign you can define which squadron is operating from one airfield. An airfield can operate only a certain number of squadrons. How many squadrons per airfield you find in the targets.ini of the terrain.

For instance:

NumSquadrons=4                                   <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< This is the number how many squadrons can be operated from this airfield

 

When the campaign is started, the game engine sometimes moves the squadrons to other airfields. If there are airfields without squadrons you will see no parked aircrafts. Only airfields with squadrons have parked airplanes.

looking so far i see that almost all airfields has got 3 squadrons...sorry for bothering guys but seems like a mistery....

Blade i checked in the campaigns data but every squadron isnlocated at an airfield. How can i understand of this airfield Is off the border?

Open the target.ini of your terrain. See if you can find any ’OffMapAirBase=TRUE' entries.

MAN YOU SOLVED MY PROBLEM!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND YOUR ADVICE! I SET FALSE AND THEN ALL AIRPORTS ARE NOW POPULATED!
