i learned this weekend that USAF Broncos were often boxed up and then shipped once the WW2 escort carriers/aircraft transport ships were retired

nope. the overall project is USAF FACs post Nam. so these, O-2s (the YAP model) and OA-37s this summer, the OA-10 TASS units probably during Christmas time

he's right, there is a whole pack with all the variants of th eOV-10. im just workin with Sundowner's model cause, well, it Sundowners model. just a couple steps above the rest

yeah, dont look like much. But USAFE actually believed in the lo viz, no markings OPSEC thing..... at least the 20th TASS in '76 had some color about it.

the folks that live off post. in the known American housing. on the street full of Chevy trucks instead of Mercedes sedans.......

but try to blend in.

I've got that blond hair, blue eye look, and one German lady mistook me for a local, and I had to tell her I was an American. But like it was never an issue for me since I didn't go out much anyway, and not for long either. But I never got bothered by anybody when I traveled on the train or anything.
