Hi Carlo, what issues are you running into specifically, is it the stretched screen? I am running similar and have managed to get the settings dialled in so that it works okay.

EDIT: this thread below might help. After you have manually set your resolution and aspect ratio in the options.ini file set it to read only, otherwise when you launch the game and go into the graphics options menu the game will revert it to default. (I just never open the graphics menu in game to avoid messing with my manual in settings)

Hey,

I guess your game looks streched?

You have to manually edit options.ini and enter your screenresolution and aspect ratio. After that you need to make the options.ini read-only, otherwise aspect ratio will reset to other values and you have a streched picture again. If you need to change something in the menu, you have to remove read-only, make the changes, change the 3 displaysettings in the ini and restore read-only-status. Its not perfect, but it works.

If you still get a distorted picture, try set your refresh rate to 60Hz.

Thats from my options.ini (change the marked values):

[GraphicsOptions]
DisplayDeviceID=0
DisplayWidth=3440     <------
DisplayHeight=1440     <------
DisplayDepth=32
AspectRatio=2.388889     <------ Displaywidth divided by Displayheight

It's the aspect ratio that matters (and Nyghtfall has the right number here).
However...once in any couple of games you play, the options file seems to reset that ratio to the standard one.

Did you enter the ingame options after start?

When you start the game, you cannot enter the options anymore, otherwise it will use the values from the options. In my case resolution is still shown as "3440x1440x32", but aspect ratio is shown as 16:9. The game then uses that value instead the ones from the options.ini.

Like Muesli said: correct aspect ration for that resolution would be 2,388889 - it's 6 digits, as that's what you will find in options.ini when using the ingame graphics menu.

Edit: It resets the options.ini when you enter the ingame-menu, even when you not enter the graphics-tab - so you cannot enter ingame-options at all, otherwise it's reset to stretch.

Thanks for your awnsers.

I did not enter the options in game & options.ini was read only.

But will try again later to apply Nyghtfall´s inputs.

I have asked my son, who has the same curved monitor. He tested it and found that the "Operation Desert Storm" installation made such a streched view. The other (stock) games SF2E, SF2NA and SF2I have no problems with ultrawide (3440 x 1440) curved monitor and give a normal view.

If possible, please tell him to modify the FlightEngine.ini inside the Flight folder of the ODS 30AE mod. Aside from the Options.ini, there's also this value that needs manual fixing for supporting another aspect ratio:
