To Ramstein. Why is it a pity that i don't find it a blunder and enjoy it? I didnt mean to tell you what to do with your time. I meant to you what i what do if i was so dissatisfied with a game as you seem to be with Lomac. It wasnt meant as an insult - maybe i just have a difficulties understanding you. I havent been insulted by anything you have said or done and i dont wish you anything ill... as i said i just have trouble understanding why you spend so much time on a game that you seem to dislike so much. I would move on - but hey: thats just me. You are of course entitled to your oppinions and you have every right to voice them here as long as do it in civil manner - which i so far think you have done. I on the other hand have the right to disagree and wonder. I hope you are cool with this - I know i am ;) regards GhostDog

I think i would concentrate my efforts on someting else other than Lomac if i where you. Its a pity you find it such a blunder as you say. I like it. I look forward to the patch. I also look forward to what else ED might come up with; Alone or with another publisher.

hmmm .. perhaps some soldering. I really don't know. I thought about getting a CH stick with gameport connection, which i can get really cheap, and try to solder a USB plug on it. I thought that might might work since the same stick is made in both variants and the internals of the stick might be the same .. dunno about your pedals though. There might be a few things you would like to try first, i'm just not sure i know what

You might be right - but it wont more or less right no matter the general concensus ;)

try take a look at www.g4techtv.com. They have (had) a series of tips called "dark tips", i think, and one of them was on how to bypass the logon codes in XP

i didnt think gameport was supported in XP

Im sure they weren't happy with the state this product was at the time of the release and that they would have wanted to have a bit more time but if you take a look at the 1.02 readme file you will see that this is more than a patch. They are adding features as well as fixing bugs

You are probably right and it wont be a bad thing if they do the job good. Let them move on and spend their energy on new projects that will thrill us as much as Lo:MAc does

I must say i fully understand their wish to go "the whole way" and do it right this time instead of creating a patchwork (no pun intended) of patches. I like their approach of first adressing the big problems fast and then taking the time to do the second one right the first time. ( )

OT .. but anyway: You are doing great in the UBI jungle... I dont envy you

@Snacky I hope i made myself clear. I want it right. Time is a subject though as i'm sure you would agree. I take (most) peoples expession of impatience and frustration as a sign of their fundamental love for this game. I know it is so for me - why else bother? GD
