Yeah, it is quite impossible to fly. It simply doesn't want to pitch up or pitch down, try using the rudder and its goes into a flat spin. Wingmen too end up going into crazy flatspins. Its a pity that it doesn't fly as well as Marcelo's Mi-8 or Dels Apaches because its such a wonderfully detailed model. Anyway, I will try & finish off the Indian Army, AF, Navy, CG skins and hopefully one day the FM issues will get fixed for this model.

Based on Tracker's superbly detailed Alouette III model, I plan to make the HAL Chetak(as it was called in Indian service), for the Indo-Pak mod. It served with all four wings of the Indian defence forces... 1. Army(SAR/CAS) 2. Navy(SAR, Anti-ship) 3. Air Force(SAR/CAS) 4. Coast Guard(SAR) While the model and the cockpit are simply awesome, the FM needs a lot of work. You can't control the pitch on the helicopter and it is virtually impossible to fly. Can some FM expert please look at the data.ini and make it more controllable?

December 1971, an Indian Air Force C-47 successfully ditching near an Indian Army base near Amritsar after being attacked by PAF F-86s and subsequently being saved by IAF Hunters. It was on a airdrop mission near the frontlines when it was intercepted by marauding PAF Sabres. The C-47 crew would not have made it, had it not been for the Indian Hunters that were returning home after a deep strike mission in Pakistan. -

Jonathan, By any chance were you able to fix the Gnat's landing gear problem while putting things together for your Scandinavian mod? White Tigers on Patrol -
I must thank you for making this mod and being patient enough to listen to my constant nagging about Indo-Pak mods . Indian(and Pakistani) air power has never been so accurately represented in any sim, thanks to you and the the guys who put in their hard work in making those wonderful models . Cheers to you and to the Bear-F for its unblemished safety record in Indian Navy service

That looks like the old Harrier FRS.51( based on the FRS.1). Wasn't there a new FRS.1 model in the Falklands mod? http://combatace.com/index.php?autocom=downloads&showfile=7626 -
Yeah and locally some dumb bombs that were converted to LGBs using Israeli guidance kits. These were used successfully during the Kargil War. I was thinking on dedicated weapons pack for the Indo-Pak mod with weapons used only by India and Pakistan, and attachment types on each weapon set to India or Pakistan. Aircraft data.ini set to India or Pakistan. Would that work? Israeli Rafael Derbys and Pythons on IN LUSH Harriers . You wouldn't have one of those in the works would ya ?

May be I wasn't clear enough. KF-1XX series serials show up fine on the a/c, but...... One of the reasons this game is so enjoyable is that you get to learn so many things about the aircraft you are flying/ modding. For history and accuracy's sake, I believe it is important to have the aircraft names/designations same as their RL counterparts. Also, Weapon Attachment Type needs to be edited as well. American weapons must no show up/ be selectable for the Indian Mirage.

I am sorry to say this, but the Indian Mirage 2000 is in a mess. The ejection seat is missing, the serial numbers in numbers.lst are from the French Mirage . The wings on the 2000H are supposed to have "Keep Off" warning stencils, and not "No Step" warnings. The IAF variant you have named is wrong. There is no such thing called as Mirage 2000C_HAL. HAL(Hindustan Aeronautics Limited) never manufactured Mirage 2000s. The designation for IAF Mirage 2000s is "Mirage 2000H", where "H" stands for Hindustan( India) and not "H" from HAL, and it was nicknamed as "Vajra"(Divine Thunder).
