lol, I just realized that I didn't have a .cat file for the Israel Terrain, so I added it. (You can either make a new folder called 'Desert' and add the .Cat file from the default terrain folder, renamed Desert.Cat, of course, or do some .ini editing and add the renamed cat file into the Israel terrain folder) It works now, no spontaneous combusting, but there don't seem to be any textures. It's just a plain, whitewashed color.

I don't really pay attention to runway names when I fly, but it happened 5 times in a row. Also, I used mainly modern-ish aircraft (1960 onwards). Basically every plane in the Middle East Campaign pack and some default and other 3rd party planes.

Yeah, I have the same problem with v1.5, making the Middle East campaign pack unplayable. I knew there was fix somewhere, but I forgot and was too lazy to look for it anyways. :P

You can find the Atoll in Bunyap's weapon pack, as for the others they might be in there but I'm not sure. I think the Awl's in there.

Now those are the sims that I'm really fans of. Flight sims with a wide variety of planes are nice, but the dedicated, really realistic sims dedicated to 1 or 2 planes are just... Amazink! Things like the Falcon series where you just spend your time learning and getting to feel your virtual plane. A MiG vs. Phantom sim, set in the time period where radar was still being developed (it still is now, but you know what I mean ) and air to air missiles didn't always mean a kill, would be like a dream come true. Or maybe a F-104 or Skyhawk sim. Now THAT would be cool.

Yeah, I think it mainly has to do with maintenance skills. And perhaps piloting skill. But I have to say I'm rather impressed by the stuff the Soviets come up with sometimes. But then I'm an underdog person, so that may be it.

The skin is all funky, and the wheels and some other fueselage parts are not where they should be. Meh. Chinese Engineering.

Well, I can wait for a good cockpit. But I can't wait for the plane. :P This is driving me nuts! All these high-tech American and British ******* to fly in, but almost no good Soviet fighters to drive.
