 F@#$ LOMAC and UBI soft  by the time it comes out, the planes will be vintage. The videos are just to keep interest, while they drag their heels yet another time, or should I say still. Oh well, to each his own. Hope lomac is worth the wait for you guys that wanna wait. At least I can play SF:P1 while they fix it, instead of look at some pics of someone else playin what we're waitin for!!! MAYBE I'LL BUY LOMAC TO USE AS A COASTER!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

I think lomac will be just like the countless other sims in their release state, that are unfinished, and urged on the market by publishers. On another note I think lomac will suck period. You only get a handfull of flyable planes, and none are that great. Aside from the A-10, there is only russian crap...reminds me of IL-2 with jets and different names for the planes. This is my outlook anyway, I'm sure you will all try to convince me otherwise, but thats my stand. I ain't even gonna buy it

Thing is the backseaters couldn't get there without the frontseaters! Hence the team concept. This kind of team usually works best when ones had the time to learn the other, you know, when you don't gotta say jack s**t, and your RIO's already on the ball. How exactly can you simulate this? Do you think the AI learns to read your motions, tones, grunts, and overall handling of the plane, and can learn someone elses thoughts who plays on your comp? The AI would be so limited it almost would be more trouble than it was worth. Everyone has their own style and it seems almost impossible to make an AI that caters to each player differently, on such a small platform anyway.

There is an extraction utility available for download. Use this to extract files out of catalogs (.cat files). It's called SFP1E extraction utility. There is a .cat file called mission data.cat, use the extractor to extract the campaign1_data.ini from the mission data.cat, once this is done, edit the entries so the letter after the plane name reads like it does in the objects/aircraft folder. There is no way to repack the file so save and leave it where it is GET IT HERE

The sheer joy of tossing a flight of migs does nicely for me. Despite the known, I still love this game, it's one of a kind, and bound to be around for a while, as will the Dogs. The skins being created by the community, and the mods that are in the works, and those that have been completed have made this game all the more of a gas. Notably the terrain by Deuces. This has been killer for me as it has broken the repetition of the desert. What more could you want from a flight sim?? (BESIDES A TOMCAT!!) My thoughts anyway
