Nevermind. I got it. My retarded ass was not puting the pilot.bmp in the aircraft folder, I was leaving it where it extracted to. Did a search here and found the info I needed!! Thanks

OK, I need a bit of help. I am trying to change the pilots helmet. I have opened the PILOT.bmp, changed colors of the helmet, but it doesn't sow up as changed in the game. And yeah, I did save it after I edited it. There must be another file I'm missing close by. Thanks

Vectored Thrust!!! great concept, although not intended for these planes in this game. This will go away after a few reflies with the plane. As mentioned it most often happens after loading a new skin

These maps need major help huh? I thought I was only being picky about it, but it's good to hear others feel the same. Both the single player and MP maps need grids mapped out better, it would make for much better planning and execution of missions

Hey MJ, Before you give it up check this out in your SF folder. NETCACHE. its a folder in the SF folder. In here you should see AIRCRAFTLIST.DAT this must be there!!! Read below OK here's my insight on the aircraftlist.dat. This is the file that the system checks when it's looking for differences. If you have installed this game and the list is not there, you have to reinstall again or copy the file there from someone else. I watched Cylix try all night last night. To join, to host, to join after the game starts, and nothing but black screen. When I tell him of the needed file and send to him...BAMMO now he can play, better than ever. It will sit in black screen looking for this file, so guess what happens if you dont have it??? BSOD...Black Screen Of Death If anyone needs this, my email, icq, homepage, and all the other good crap are at the bottom of the page. I will be glad to help

BTW the folder NetCache is added by the patch. It was never there before the patch, and I've noticed that it sometimes gets left empty after patching is done. This can be fixed PLEASE DO NOT DELETE THIS FOLDER!!!!!!!!!

Nice patches. Too bad the plane doesn't live up to the patch though!!! LOL

Damn the patch is here and I still don't see too many people playing in MP I do seem to have more problems in hyperlobby than GameSpy But none the less I'm ready for some action

Once this was done I've had no probs Using Rogue's method is the better way to accomplish the task of insuring that this card won't be detected again though

dont use the game software!! I did and it wouldnt work!!! I just configured it through the options in the game for default controls Holds settings just fine, as a matter of fact I have 3 different setups all done in the options menu of the game that all work just fine now that I dont use the joysticks profile crap

yup F-4B and A-4 so far MP issues are still not all fixed though, in some cases a little worse All in all it's still a great game!!

I had the same problem. I uninstalled the game, using the custom option. I then chose to select all for each set of files.Then I removed the Strategy First folder from Program Files. I did a fresh install and then patched the sucker. After this was done I added the skins I wanted. Now I have been succesful in hosting and joining multiplayer games. Hope this helps you guys <S>

When I try to play multi player the screen goes black but then crashes to desktop, HELP

It is STILL the 21st!!! And still an early part of it where they are Be patient it's on it's way BTW they do have till 2400 (midnite for cake eaters)
