dual core or quad core!
SkateZilla replied to irati's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
you'll get a lil bump in Fr/ps, as SF uses multiple cores now. However the low Fr/PS on the ground is a Graphics Card Bottleneck,. -
Eurofighter just as good as F-22 if not better !

The same Typhoon won a 3 on 1 engagement vs 3 F-16s too. -
HP and Acer.

all the TW DLLs are there, however you have to re-integrate everything back into the menus and Force DX9 mode to have the hopes of using DirectPlay. There's a group of programers working on a "DirectPlayWrapper" that will allow games to use DX10 GPU and SPU features while still being able to retain DX9 Directplay, or some such technical mumbo jumbo. Im not sure if it takes the DPlay Calls and translates them to another LibrarySuite or vise versa. TBH one weekend when Im bored, im gonna try and re-integrate all the MP Menu buttons, and menus, and see if I can even get a LAN session to work without crashing.

Any Pilot would have common sense not to engage in a merge situation with this: Its Blatantly Obvious without looking at a stat sheet, the EuroFighter can accelerate like crazy. the F-22 is bigger and heavier. F-22 is designed for a different type of engagement -

EF2000 Pilots have been at it 3 more years than F-22 Pilots, 3.5 if you count the grounding of the F-22. Pilots are still discovering the aircraft's agility, Proof to point (again), that Thrust vectoring back flip at 20 Knots s**t doesnt work in Dogfights. -
MS Flight didnt allow Mods at all and was completely locked down. It was like playing a console game on my PC., As for TW, TK Already stated that Completely New planes would only be introduced in full releases/Expansion packs, While DLC will be limited to Skins, Variants of Aircraft already done, etc. He has no intention to try and match the THOUSANDS of Planes that community has done. But we are closely approaching the point where Most of those THOUSANDS of planes will not even work correctly, if at all, with the engine. The Community may just have to go the "YAP" route, and find the best build, and Stick to it, if we want new features in that build, find a way to implement them.

F-22 Pilots are trained not to Merge on a Superior Maneuvering Aircraft. In Real Combat Situations, the F-22 would do everything in its Power to avoid going head to head with a aircraft with superior maneuvering numbers. Use its speed and stealth to keep distance and fire from a distance.. The wording in the article is mis-represented. In Real Life its nearly Impossible for an Euro Fighter to even get that close. the Only reason they got that close is because the exercise Put them that close. The F-22 Wing is still under the 6G Limit Set by the Airforce until the Oxygen issue is resolved. -
not in TW's eyes it isnt, at least not anymore, TW's perspective is the Scalability of the Game, and the fact that its not a Study Sim, but its also Not Ace Combat, so it appeals to both Audiences and the people that dont want to study a 900 Page Manual or have to fire off a salvo of 22 missiles at a Terrorist Bird-Of-Prey. TBH, it's a good prespective, but the users that try and run the sim on Laptops and Integrated Graphics, the users that complain that its still too hard for them, and the users that complain about mods killing their install seem to outnumber the users asking for access to DOCS, TOOLS, a little bit more complexity in certain area's, etc

Close.... Think RAM, Page File, and DirectX Pipeline. TBH the CATs themselves aren't really being locked, but the Extractor is being programmed to recognize and hide certain extensions. I Believe the SF2NA exe has more calls too, As for the Lockdown annoyances.. I can careless right now about the game bugs, what annoys me most is the way everything is being handled/portrayed/presented to the community. Small INI and DLL Fixes in Large 100+MB Patches that sneak in more CAT restrictions or more hardcoded features that we used to be able to tweak and modify at will, Next month we'll have a 230MB patch to add Deploy-able 2-Ply Toilet paper to the evilcommbuilding_version2 It's obvious the man is tired of having new users register on his boards to complain that a certain mod killed his install.
