    The best way to remove inertia is to lower/remove mass. Any way of doing that remains purely theoretical.

    In the old days, AF1 was based on the 707 like the E-3, but you can't take the dome off in LOMAC.

    The main problem is they're continually fiddling with the physics because it's never right. It's too tight, it's too loose, whatever. The physics in F1C may not have been perfect but it was livable.

    Same with our HOA...all bluster, no bite. We used to care about what they said, until we saw blatant violations all over and found they had no power to enforce their decrees. Now we do what we think is best.

    The haze was miserable. One of the lesser launches to see because of that. The sound was louder than I was expecting given the temps and wind conditions. Always impressive, though. Although night launches are more so.

    Yeah, they would've needed to look at or near the planes for it to do anything to them. However, usually in training they use an "eye safe" setting unless it's a live fire exercise. So the question is: did it activate because it was NOT in training mode, or did it activate DESPITE being in training mode? One is crew error, the other a technical error.
