setting up helos is right job,especially when you havent a clue what ur doing lol....I get the basics of adding the RCS points to a degree....where the ones for simulating flight controls...when comes to setting up for the engines and thrust...its a mare....im looking at the points set on helos using mues lod viewer but its a job and a half....so please be patient with me lol....

Game auto animates a pilots head...so no need for slot to animate it.... it does work..I forgot that when testing the Angel Interceptor I exported model with the pilot and it worked....also extra polys ?...its same when hes added as a single model...pilot plus plane = same amount of polysin game lol... will seperate as some might prefer another pilot....,no biggy just saves me time doing the pilot stuff seperate...ha ha

Cant remember if a model exported with pilots allows the pilots head animation to work...anyone know ?

yeah...tk reccomends at least 5 pixels minimum from image edge.... if you are a modder with 3ds max exporting with decals feature usually eliminates bleed...I had some models that had bleed...this feature fixed it btw Amariani how is the pc dilemma going ?

I agree MB.....he didnt have to really do anything...he is losing money in some respects...I recieved the complete pack free from TK...and im not the only one so.....he must be losing more money making this.....he in that regard deserves to recoup his losses....if it gets the game up to date im all for it....hopefully we get some suprises.along the way....dlc ?...hmmm might be good..we cant condemn him til final thing is out tbh...

Also people who donated will get this too btw,in case you have forgotten... its really a major update to iron out the problems such as directx 10 issues we had...I think its going to have selectable DXversions 9\10\11 possibly... I know that the directx10 issues was the main reason for update....anything else is a bonus....add on a\c eh ? wonder what ones......sounds good...

Rather than ugly mesh joins ive redone base texture...moved mapping to same textures..luckily space on the fuselage map for the roof bits etc...also some polys not showing been removed so less to alter...now to edit template....oo err...will be fun lol

Is sub object materials in game 100% not working \ supported ?...as the Merlin has meshes split materials....like fuselage roof is mapped to the same dds as the exhaust fairing mesh,and the nose to it also.....nose sorted as ive moved that to the fuselage map....it means a lot of moving maps,and hen also the templates... or....I detach the offending polys and make as new mesh....hmmmm

Merlin RN also doing RAF one and one of the Lynx... also Like my desktop background ?...I love it these are pictures before conversion but look as good after.....and all total freeware......even so still credit to Virtavia and Alphasim....and have some nice pilots too....and cockpits also.... post some max screens later of all versions...hope to release them all same time...so not just 2 weeks lol.. sorry but thats how it is..I ll devote as much time to them as I possibly can.

lol...dunno what happened...installed adobe ps cc 2018 and now the exporter loads.......ahh saying that just had win update...might be connected...weird.... funny part is it stopped working before I reinstalled...part of reason was to dual boot win 7 and win 10...but 7 gave me some shit...might fire up my spare pc with win 7 32bit and do the max models in max 32 on it.

ffs what next ?...wont initialise...module not found even tho its been where its always been in plugins folder ....anyone else had this ? previous exporter works but its not got same features....ran it ok in win10 64.....max2009 32 bit was ok for exporting now squatt...what the f*** going wrong next ?

Reinstalled windows due to a Win 7 fuck up...thanks win7.....anyways...went to run firefox...lost all bookmarks,sign ins etc.. so...downloaded pre 2020 version...worked... then closed it and guess what new one pops open...cant alter profiles with new one...so... uninstalled...Added not to firefox thanks new firefox is SHIT... ok.....installed version 66.0.1 Quantum...works.... closed opened...back to version 71...ffs.... ok... firewall...new rule....block incoming to firefox.exe. works.... or if you want... edit registry go to.HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies..............................add new policy dword and it stops updates...so far its working...all my sign ins back as before windows reinstall.... Create a new subkey here named Mozilla. You will get the path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Mozilla. Under the Mozilla key, create a new subkey Firefox. You will get the path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Mozilla\Firefox. On the right, create a new 32-Bit DWORD value DisableAppUpdate. Note: Even if you are running 64-bit Windows you must still create a 32-bit DWORD value. Set its value to 1 if you encounter same...try it.
