Like yak said....unlink offending meshes...important to un link or if you reset xform a linked mesh...it screws up the secene...throwing the linked meshes all over the viewport.. and then reset pivots, align to world for un animated meshes... also IMPORTANT...xform reset loses animations....by that I mean the pivot is defaultr place so local animation is lost.. xform reset is a last resort and not your friend....I now make sure any scaling is corrected BEFORE animating etc.....and placing \ moving meshes to obscure angles... I used to make landing gears and mirror them to save doing twice ...port and starboard. as you have to reset the meshes as when mirrored the polys turn facing inwards.. and some animations reverse with no fix, apart from re animating.. however Ive found if you Instance the gear meshes...mirror them and then make unique each mesh...it keeps the animations, and scale......then no need to flip polys back as this way they seem to work in game fine.

Modelling software is out there and accesible for free...blender...for example...maybe if some learned to model we might have more of what people want....some are too busy to drop stuff and remodel old stuff....just an idea. I knew fuck all about moels ,but after some tutorials such as mustangs....I learnt quick....and was able to get out basic models quite soon thereafter ie Tjet and the moth and early P47 N version so its doable im NOT having a go or a moan ,just its easy once you know basics of 3ds max....and each time you make summat you find ways to do it better and quicker....im by no stretch of the imagination an expert...still amateur, but im happy with most of what I do....and still learning. if you decide to try....watch tutorials...there are great simple ones out there...they even supply model to try and to look at to see how its done.... if people willing to try im willing to offer any assistance,as im sure will other modders. -
I would...but first back it up...well all the mods you made...then just case of adding them back bit by bit to make sure alls well all I did was copy all my modded folders....and paste back what I wanted....making sure each didnt screw anything up

Trailblazing a\c the A12 oxcart.....most stealth wouldnt exist for it...all the days \ months \years at Groom lake were`nt wasted... Funny thing about it...Lockheed tried for ages to keep it a secret from Russia...testing on its "radar cross section site" on a pole......which was raised up above test run way to beam radar at it...then lower away back underground to hide away from Russkie satellites....but unknown to the Skunkworks...Russians had spotted the heat of runway showed "cool spot" and the "shadow " of the a\c shape....subsequently they painted the test runway in heat absorbant paint lol this pic is to when tested at Groom...later
