This is a great win for general aviation. When I was up in Oshkosh, there were planes everywhere that had a green, sport-pilot eligible tag on them. This what I'm going to get now, and then use it as stepping stone to my full private. But this way it's cheaper, and our luscombe qualifies for all the weight, speed, and crew limitations. A guy over at SomethingAwful.com helped his dad by scanning a bunch of Elektachrome slides and then having the SA Goons fix the color balance and such with their mastery of Photoshop. I highly recomend checking them out, his dad was in the Navy and there are some truly beutiful F-4 pics and some others (even an F-106, YAY!) Here's the link.

If you've never read PA, it's a great web comic about gaming. They also have been asked by Ubi Soft on quite a few occasions to do a comic series to promote an upcoming game, and they happily oblige. They currently have just finished one for BIA, and they say that the art and the storytelling will be much more grittier than PA fans are used to. IF you want to check some of the other comics go here. I recomend the Rainbow Six 3, and if you need a good laugh the Far Cry is actually a paradoy of the game that the devs thought was great.

Ya the people on the official forums will tell you that you're the ant-christ for using, god forbid, outside views but I go for a more cinematic experience any way. Use the functions keys and play around with what you like. My bro always watches me play IL-2 because he says with fast cuts and the timming between in cockpit, chase, and flyby I use it comes off looking like a movie :D

Whoa crazy! I was just about to post this article. Although it might do better in the Project One forums since it specically mentions Strategy First.

If I had the comp to run it I'd be playing it, I'll some time in on my friend's X-Box in, though it won't be the same. Although he also has CS:Condition Zero, so he'll be getting the Counter-Strike Source beta, so I'll have a report for ya'll on how the source engine plays :D
