couldn't agree more. i remember when i bought WOI i got a mission to intercept some badgers. okay no prob, i say. my 4 ship formation gets to the intercept area nice and high and then my jaw drops to the floor. there's a dozen badgers spitting fire like there's no tomorrow. i mean, there's literally a wall of gunfire coming from them. the first impression was: sweet lord, this is the death star! but i buckle up and dive in anyway. needles to say the got me on my first pass trying to slash through them from above.

visually, I always loved Voyager the most. somehow, out of all the federation vessels, it matched my idea of a starship the most. i kinda like the size and the position of the engine nacelles; they're not aesthetically dominant so much as in other ships. she's a beauty.

---> Fox News FALLON, Nev. — The U.S. Navy has confirmed one pilot was killed after two jets flying a training mission collided over northern Nevada's high desert. The jets collided shortly after noon on Friday about 50 miles east of the Fallon Naval Air Station. Two pilots safely ejected from an F-5 Tiger and were rescued. But base spokesman Colonel Jeffrey Wells confirmed Friday evening that the pilot of an F/A-18C Hornet was killed. The two other pilots are being treated for minor injuries at a hospital in Fallon. No names have been released. The cause of the crash was under investigation, he said. The pilots in the two-seater F-5 Tiger ejected and were picked up by a helicopter crew from the Fallon Naval Air Station. The helicopter arrived on the crash scene at 12:25 p.m.

yeah 250MB seems to be the norm for non-paying users. but that doesn't matter. you can compress the exe with, say, free WinRar, also setting the option to split the resulting file in two archives. That way we get two 190MB archives which you then upload somewhere (i.e. filecrunch, megashares, etc). The only bad thing is that nonpaying users generaly have to wait a certain period of time between two downloads, usually an hour or two (or you don't have to wait at all if you have a dynamic ip - you just clear your browser cache and disconnect and reconnect to the internet and off you go, you can download instantly)

how big is this thing? why not just put it up on some filesharing site and set a password you give only to betatesters?
