What exact problem/s are you having? Movie Maker is buggy and sometimes you have to work around it's aggro, but eventually it comes right.

I'm here every day, and I think I've posted in the last couple of days. Peter Hawke is having a spot of leave though, mooching around the aerodrome and local bars in a right old funk. Over two weeks of day-to-day combat and it's been a bit much for the poor old chap. Luckily the CO, Albert Ball, is a very understanding chap so it'll all come good. :yes:

I had that once, they were 2-seaters at high altitude.

I know why it can't be done (would mean allowing CFS3 more integration into the OFF manager than is ideal), but I would dearly like to be able to fight my plane all the way down until it hits the deck, and not have the sim decide for me that it's futile. Maybe it can be done by making each plane's DM so that it can never be 100% damaged (max 99%)? A way of tricking the CFS3 code as it were, so the cut-off can't be triggered but the plane still falls out of the sky.

Status : Rejected . 13/4/1917 8h6 Flanders Vert Galand Scramble Flying: SE5a Hispano-Suiza. On this day claims: 3 Alb DIII . Engaged enemy scouts directly over Vert Galand aerodrome, fired bursts into three, observed to go down out of control and crash.. Witnessed by: Oscar Mendelson. Chris Colburn. Simon Alfred. Status : Confirmed . 21/4/1917 11h10 Flanders Vert Galand Patrol Behind Friendly Front Lines Flying: SE5a Hispano-Suiza. On this day claims: 2 Alb DIII . While flying patrol engaged flights of Albatri and fired bursts into two in seperate engagements, one going down vertically out of control and observed to crash into the ground, the second going down in a slow glide and seen to crash into trees, both in the very near vicinity of Arras.. Witnessed by: Oscar Mendelson. Simon Alfred. Chris Colburn. Justin Kilmer. Status : Confirmed .

I get it too, when my plane has been shot-up. The govt has plenty more so I don't worry about it.

Preamble...can't be arsed... You chaps should buy in a bunch of copies of CFS3 (I got one for my brother last night, £2.99 plus £1.94 postage from Amazon). Bundle it with OFF, add £20 to the price to cover OFF, convert that to dollars (£23 = $33), round it up to $35, plus postage, that's a deal. Ditch the distributor, god knows why you went with one in the first place. You should have been burning your own copies and posting them yourselves. But you weren't in it for the money, that's clear to anyone. So you haven't sold thousands. Oh well. What you have done is slough off all the free-loaders, the casual downloaders (P1 and P2), and established who the serious people are (us for starters). Those who were prepared to part with cash, not only to get something they seriously wanted but wanted to put their money where their appreciation is. I think that's called art. You chaps haven't made a game or a mod or a sim exactly, you've made an experience. Experiences don't sell to gamers, they sell to a very specialised niche market. People who are usually of a higher intelligence than the average punter ("Duh, no zombies, screw that!"). So think of P3 as art. You painted an original and are now selling prints to the discerning cogniscenti. If I was one of the team I'd be very well pleased. It's a masterpiece, and recognized as such by those who have the wit to tell the difference. Well, that's my blathering done, fueled I have to admit by a quantity of Asahi Super Dry (the finest beer ever crafted by the hand of man). BH&H rocks. It's the dog's bollocks. I've not had as much fun from a computer game since RB2-3D. Thanks chaps, for your passion, enthusiasm, talent and integrity.

I jammed my Saitek pedals today, fortunately while I was still on the ground and cycling all the controls. I had to dismantle them to fix the problem. I'm glad it didn't happen at 14,500ft when the Albatrosses steamed in. Was very immersive.

Vert Galand Flanders Dearest Papa. Long-range patrol over enemy lines, an hour in and just crossing the lines over the coast, I spot a lone a/c in the distance at 4 o'clock. At first I thought it was a hun 2-seater, legging it into the clouds, but after getting the binoculars onto it I spot a bunch more...hang on...heading our way (seven of us)...ALBATROSSES!!! I wave the attack and turn into them, kite a bit sluggish. Then it was twisting and turning, snap-shots here and there, doing my best to keep above them. The buggers were everywhere. Then I spotted one of my chaps getting it, so went to help him. Scared the hun off his tail, then started taking hits myself. Twisting and turning again, more hits, couldn't shake him. Nose down hard and dive, with the bugger following me all the way. I looked back, there's my wingie, god bless him, trying to shoot him off me. By now I'm taking hit after hit, all the way down, dodging some of it but no longer sure how well my plane is handling. I find out as I try to pull out at about 500ft and the kite is a bag of spuds, engine running rough, misfiring, buggered. Going in sideways and she won't respond. She seems to level better if I push the stick forward, so I do that until the ground is right there and I pull back hard. The nose comes up a bit but the kite goes in hard on the right wings and SMASH! I see flames, fire, sky, whirling around, the world gone mad. Then I'm lying on my back looking at the sky. Can't hear a thing, but the ground is soft. I'm wet. But alive, or at least I think so. Laying in a bog of some sort, covered in mud. Well, I sat up and breathed. Found the old gaspers and lit one up. The kite is about thirty feet away or so, blazing from end to end, bits of it strewn everywhere. Did I just come out of that? In one piece? I feel no pain, everything works, not even winded. How is that possible? High above I see kites still chasing each other around, tracer-trails lacing the sky between them. It all looks very wonderful and I realise I must be in some kind of shock. Then I start laughing. I had another five kills confirmed Papa and I've been awarded a gong. I'm an ace apparently, which is jolly fun. But I think I've had enough of this caper now. Not that it'll cut much mustard anywhere. I shall see about getting some leave though. Love to all. Peter.

Just had a scramble mission, my usual tactic of staying low and flying clear didn't work this time and I copped a few rounds in the engine from an Alb. I was back on the field within three minutes of taking off. But then I had five kills come in confirmed (making six in total) and a medal too! I figure I can coast now. What are they going to do, court-martial me for cowardice?

It would make more sense to make the desk image a 2560 x 1600, that way you won't get tiling on even the biggest monitor (just me being anal I guess). Low quality will still look perfectly good and won't be a particularly large file-size.

Fw190. Dr1. Spitfire (BoB model). I was around five years old when my mother built and painted the old Airfix Dogfight-Double kit, Dr1 & Brisfit, and hung them from the bedroom ceiling. 1965 that was. I was given an early start. I built my own Dr1 and painted it red with a bit of tissue on a stick when I was eight.

Wow, good work on the tracers, seeing those coming at you looks way better now. Also the reduced accuracy of the rear gunners, still getting hit but it's not the devestating hail it once was. Far more realistic.

I'm assuming you chaps mean 2-seaters on their own? I can't recall seeing any alone, but I frequently encounter them in pairs or more, in various careers in various years.
