Well, well, my guess is that maybe the general is probably a bit upset because maybe he had a fight with his boyfriend ? Srebrenica is litterally a black page in our history and still a trauma in this country. Senator Levin is right: the batallion was lightly armed (yes, in order not to provocate the Serbs.......) and the ROE prevented real action. There was an airstrike at the advancing Serbian armour, in which capt. Manja Blok (YES, A FEMALE), flying an F-16 destroyed Serbian tanks with dumb Mk 82's (!), but follow up support by the USAF was unable to find the target area and more strikes were FORBIDDEN by the UN Headquarters. The Serbs, with tanks and everything, had no trouble in overrunning the Dutch troops after that and the drama that evolved is beyond description... Thank you very much general !! Derk

I'll give you some more Maurice: it took me some time to locate the original file and download it but found it eventually..... I'm not using it to do the Spanish Civil War but for a more modern conflict with the Western part of the Iberian peninsula occupied by the commies (or whatever). I take the pre-war parked planes for granted. First mission I flew was from Murcia, using F16's from the smallish airfield, but taking off and landing is an extra challenge that way. Made a little detour over the peninsula to the south and Cartagena and really felt "at home" there, as I made a golf trip a couple of years ago to the La Manga Golf Courses situated there and we drove around quite a bit.. And I can tell you that the new tiles, cities and the landscape are doing a good job !!! Thanks once more. Hou doe, Derk
