  3. but you're Welsh ...? so that would be WAC (except you would then sound like a scouser ). bit of F-117 inspiration there?

  5. waits with bated breath ... He seems to be going down quite well with the crowds going by the reviews so far. I'm still waiting for my US Import version of Revelation to turn up. :(

  9. well, they are building their own version of the Russian engines for their Flankers - heck, they've even reverse engineered the Flanker so that they no longer buy kits from Russia!

  11. quite a few pics posted on UKAR with Greek F-4s etc. obviously taken on base so I guess that they have opened up some.
  12. No, they are licence built in China. I seem to recall that P&W sold some gas turbines to China for civil helicopter use but some have turned up in a military chopper? & then of course there is the nuclear submarine technology that China got by espionage plus others e.g. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/conte...0203952_pf.html
  13. it would be recalled due to too much lead in the paint though ...
  14. as are many others. F-22 won't do the job that the JSF is meant to fulfill & we are too committed to Typhoon anyway, we wouldn't/couldn't go with F-22. about on a par with other countries. Typhoon is more capable than Rafale & of course is a weight class above the Gripen largely I guess due to the twin engine config. (which is however a requirement for many airforces).
  15. afaik the rumour was that the RAF operated some PR.9s from Chile during the Falklands, would have been odd if Chile had also lent some to Argentina ... in fact I think that the Chilean PR.9s actually were the RAF ones left as a "thank you".

  17. most games are more GPU limited than CPU so your problem is that your gfx card can't take advantage of the overclocked CPU.
  18. here you would be lucky to find a dedicated sim shelf ... Other than the absolutely huge titles PC games here may soon end up being only available by mail order or download.
  19. don't know why but your model looks short for it's height (i.e it looks dumpy)?

  24. 333 Squadron RNAF think it's a P-3C UIP though rather than a P-3N.
