  1. I prefer to give him the chance to demonstrate that he can change his ways. Innocent until proven guilty but he hasn't started off on the best of feet ...
  2. What's the point in sending me a message if you have your PM disabled so that I can't reply ...
  3. You mean that you've never seen the B-52s doing that as well? 1 of the things that TK has on his long list is a better heavy bomber AI/FM
  4. The stock aircraft includes AI Migs. These are very easily converted to user flyable aircraft but there are loads of 3rd party addons as well..
  5. 2,596 downloads

Streakeagle's tutorial on using Kreelin's editor for Strike Fighters etc.
  6. I hope that zerocinco has pulled it (& others) to rework for SP4 compatability.
  7. It's not enough just to have DX9.0c you need to have the latest (April 2006) version of it.
  8. see the sticky http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showtopic=8786 Changing planes in instant action (player plane only, not the AI-controlled): You need to edit 2 files: 1) OPTIONS.INI 2) flight\INSTANTACTION.INI (which you extract from MISSIONDATA.CAT (not FLIGHTDATA.CAT) Changes in INSTANTACTION.INI: In section [AircraftMission001] (which describes player a/c), change AircraftType to what you want to fly (and have flyable) i.e. AircraftType=MiG-21MF Changes in OPTIONS.INI: In section [instantAction] set AircraftType same as in INSTANTACTION.INI. .
  9. some footage http://www.e3coverage.com/videos/e3coverag...0lasermouse.zip
  10. np, Ghost. Did CH have anything new - I don't think that I've seen anything mentioned ?
  11. I wonder if it's the 256Mb RAM that's the problem - how much do you have free?
  12. check that your driver & SST version match.
  13. If you mean a BLU-82 etc. that exists
  14. BUFF

    Calenders 2

    No problems here either.
  15. well, they are on the website already just not available to purchase yet. ;) According to the press release rrp for the pedals is $130 (same as an X-52) so what, $100 street? In the US that probably puts them up straight against the CH (which I find a bit narrow) but in Europe probably puts them at a 25% advantage. As to availability it sound like the US may get the pedals over the summer with the rest of the world Autumn/Fall. Think that the KB & mouse will be Autumn too, that would be fairly consistent with past Saitek history.
  16. Get a copy of SF P1 or SFG as the Il-28 is in that. Think that the AN-12 is in it too.
  17. I meant more avionics/MFDs than anything - weapons are not a problem. Most models that were made for SF P1 are available somewhere if you search. That page at McFly's is EA's USAF not Third Wire's Strike Fighters.
  18. http://www.saitekusa.com/usa/info/e3.htm http://www.saitekusa.com/usa/info/press/Pr...udderpedals.pdf http://www.saitekusa.com/usa/info/press/Ec...ess_Release.pdf http://www.saitekusa.com/usa/info/press/GM...ess_Release.pdf
  19. I would have said that 2 out of 3 SF sites were alive (but maybe not in their original homes) all good things come to those who wait, iirc Marcfighters has 1 coming You have to bear in mind that the game engine doesn't support all the g-whiz kit in state of the art fighters (although Sp4 will advance it a bit). I'm sure that somebody, sometime will do a Typhoon.. you're not alone there
  20. I would check the warranty dates https://www4.maxtor.com/en/support/service/rma/create/
  21. You will need them all incl. Sp1 which is no longer on Third Wire but is available in the downloads section here.
  22. Some great shots there but the Lightning is special :)
  23. I deliberately didn't include a timescale because of past experience with Saitek release dates ( iirc Richard italicised the "possible" part of it so even he was being cautious). Anyway as stated not too long now, mid next week.
  24. Nothing there that hasn't already been posted here. Only another week or so & more should be revealed :)
  25. just stick a cockpit in it :) there's a "fly all Migs" mod around though which does that for you. Oh, look - it's in exactly the same sticky ... "Flying New (previously non-flyable) Aircraft Previously non-flyable aircraft can be flown as follows. MajorLee has a flyable SU-7B. Say you want to fly the Mig-21Mf, which is in \Strike Fighters\Objects\Aircraft\MiG-21MF Open the *.INI file in that folder. It will look like this: [AircraftData] AircraftFullName=MiG-21MF Fishbed-J AircraftDataFile=MiG-21MF_data.ini LoadoutFile=MiG-21MF_loadout.ini Change it to look like this: [AircraftData] AircraftFullName=MiG-21MF Fishbed-J AircraftDataFile=MiG-21MF_data.ini CockpitDataFile=F-104G_cockpit.ini HangarScreen=MiG-21MF_hangar.bmp LoadoutImage=MiG-21MF_loadout.bmp LoadoutFile=MiG-21MF_loadout.ini The MiG-21MF will use the F-104G cockpit. Now use the hangar.bmp and loadout.bmp files from MajorLee’s flyable Su-7, and rename them MiG-21MF_hangar.bmp and MiG-21MF_loadout.bmp, in the MiG21MF subdirectory. That’s all. The MiG-21MF will now be selectable. "
