  1. Please be specific as to which. They should work in single missions but will only work in campaigns if they have been written into them.
  2. Which helicopter(s) in particular? If you are talking about the AH-1J Beta when you extract the AH_1J folder from the RAR dump that whole folder into Objects/Aircraft. Note: you will have to rename it to AH-1J as that is what all the .inis reference not AH_1J.
  3. How about a complete system spec? Is this a new card that you put in & if so did you remove the drivers for the old 1 first? Sorry but you need to explain things better.
  4. Sorry but I have absolutely no knowledge of using the Terrain Editor & only a few do. Why don't you email Major Lee?
  5. You sure? Under Maps and Terrains>Strike Fighters Construction School>Overview of the Terrain Editor (TE) & under Aircraft, Objects and Utilities>Tools and Templates http://www.majorleesaerodrome.net/download...Italy_North.zip
  6. Try Hyperlobby or Streakeagle's server.

  10. A new patch for T-72 Balkans on Fire! was released today. Among the features is a fix for the random lockups some people encountered as well as a new configuration program option to reverse the Joystick Axis. Available from Battlefront
  11. You can get AGP8x boards that will work on 1.5V slots but sometimes it can depend on how the board mfr implimented the GPU.
  12. been a lot of Dragon Lites, you don't know the specific model do you e.g. SY-K7V?
  13. I don't think that there is any "right" answer to this as some apps will be CPU limited & some GPU limited (it would also help to have the exact mobo type) & also what 1 peron considers "reasonably priced" another may disagree with. I suspect that a 6600GT would probably be the max. worth considering putting in that without upgrading in other areas too.
  14. Good place to start http://www.fas.org/man/index.html
  15. 3rd party mod of a 3rd party beta a/c .... Would have been nice if you had mentioned that in your original post. Thanks for posting the solution though as it may help folk in the future.

    SAAB Video

"... you don't build just any SUV." Correct you take a Chevy Blazer, tart it up & stick a badge on it. It's not a true Saab & people wonder why GM is in trouble
  17. £18 delivered at Play.com http://play.com/play247.asp?pa=cart&page=t...PC&title=741380
  18. You may find it hard to find a 6800GT as they are being replaced by 6800GS.
  19. instrument lighting should be automatically on for night flights.
  20. Sp2 is v12.25.03 (easy to remember as it was a Xmas present) so you obviously aren't patched to it.
  21. ENGLISH ONLY (a German Patch will be out shortly) This has a host of new features, including contrails, new bullet hit sounds, rain, and a new "Red Death" effect when crashing into the ground. DOWNLOAD HERE: http://www.gmxmedia.net/bob2/downloads/ http://www.shockwaveproductions.com/bob/up...pdate_v2.03.zip http://www.3dgamers.com/games/battlebritain2wv/downloads/ v2.02 to v2.03 changes (all previous updates are included in the 2.03 update) ******** Bug Fixes ******** - The Win98 Alt-x error fixed (DDRAW error). - Ju 52 error completely fixed. - Memory leak fixed. This is at least one if not the major cause for people running out of main memory (error message ~ "Can not alloc 16MB") - "Next waypoint" crash workaround again :-/ - Bug in runtime optimizers fixed that might have lead to crashes. - Udet Buoy mission fixed. - Reduced VRAM usage a bit, this should help 64MB card owners. - Robustness (technical: Init imagemapfile, delete [] instead of delete, MSVC 8 warnings, Wrong index range fixed) - Improved debug code (technical: for example Texture fn versus generic fn, Fix to a broken assert, Added assert, added version + build date to crashlog output to be able to differentiate "new" from "old" bugs) ******** Other Improvements for users: ******** - Reactivated Rain. You need to have the worst weather setting to see it. (technical: In the bdg.txt, with RAIN_FACTOR you can in- or decrease the number of "rain threads". 32 is default, 0 is no rain.) - Minor performance optimizations. - Separate quality setting for WATER in OPTIONS (mostly for GeForce 4200-4800 users) - Contrails (Should appear at 16,500 ft and above). - Player aircraft bullet hit sounds improved. - "No Spinning Death" - not completely polished yet, but instead of the spinning death camera you get a red screen. You need to activate it via the bdg.txt variable "No_Spinning_Death" to ON. This new effect comes thanks to Buddye - Improved prop looks at low rpm. - Use the bdg.txt variable DRAW_MENU_ON_3D_SCREEN to disable the "radio menu". Nice for users using voice input. - FPS readout colour now same as infoline colour. - PERFORMANCE_TEST_MODE implemented. - Coords.txt now also contains pitch info. - Water shimmer reduced, thanks to Mauser at SimHQ ******** Modder Features: ******** - You can now have 16 fresnel files depending on time of day and weather. - First version of Multiskin means Skinners can get acquainted and already create some of the data. - Shaders (one can use Shaders instead of textures). This is an extremely powerful technology, for example the Farcry people boast every pixel goes through a shader. However, it is the absolute, bleeding edge of technology for modders . Read technique from file. Use one the hardware supports. - When BoB is minimized, it now uses almost no (CPU etc) resources. Ignores keystrokes. - AutoTextureChange partly fixed. Works sometimes now :-/. Supports DDS. Looks for new textures when un-minimizing now. - DISABLE_ALL_2D_ELEMENTS in the bdg.txt is a nice feature for video makers / screenshot makers. Might also be of interest to pure users.

  24. have to reload CFS3
  25. I'm sure that it's been commented on before I think that the F-4 does the same iirc). I can't remember if it's just a disconnect in the .ini so that the guages don't work but you have the fuel or 1 that means that the game doesn't see the fuel. I don't remember ever running out of fuel on an F-105 mission though so I guess the first.
