yes, there is a debug mode (DebugTxt = true in the HudData.ini iirc) which includes fps along with several lines of other stuff. you're just as well off with FRAPS

beta aircraft are unfinished as far as the originator is concerned. They are provided & used on the basis that there may be flaws in them. There usually isn't any real problem installing them - at most it may need some minor .ini tweaks.

there's an F-22 in the works & an SU-31 We have F-15, F-16, F-18, Tornado, Mig-29 etc. The problem is that the games avionics support isn't (yet) there for all the geewhiz kit. It was afterall a 60's early 70s time frame design for the sim. No, at the moment you can't reload the cat.
