  1. A conformal gun pod which may be fitted or removed as required.
  2. Well we also got Bongo's Typhoon, we got Zur's MV-22.....man it is too hard to decide on the best.
  3. I used to run it on a laptop with an ATI card and it sucked. Since I got a laptop and a desktop with GeForce cards, it runs smooth as silk. ATI just doesn't run well with this series. Been like that since 2002. Man I loved that game! Played it until my thumbs were numb.
  4. Yes the mod is awesome too. I think 2008 should be called, "The Year it was REALLY good."
  5. Ed Don't get too far on it. I will have your pics by Sunday.

  9. Lindr2 I had to make a re-post because that file announcement got all screwed up.
  10. J-35 history (from internet) J 35A Fighter version, total production: 90. The J 35As were delivered between 1959-1961. The tail section was lengthened after the 66th aircraft to house a new afterburner for additional thrust. This forced the installation of a retractable tail-wheel. The two versions were nicknamed Adam kort (Adam short) and Adam lang (Adam long). J 35B Fighter version, built and delivered between 1962–1963, total production: 73. This variant had improved radar and gun sights, and was also fully integrated into the Swedish STRIL 60 system; a combat guidance and air surveillance system. J 35D Fighter version, delivered between 1963-1964, total production: 120. The aircraft had a new and more powerful Rolls-Royce Avon 300 (RM 6C), which could deliver 77.3 kN thrust when using its afterburner. This was also the fastest Draken version, and capable of accelerating until out of fuel. It was also the last Draken to carry two cannon. J 35F Fighter version, delivered between 1965 and 1972, total production: 230. This variant had improved electronics and avionics, e.g. integrated radar, aim and missile systems. The aircraft's main armament where IR and SARH versions of the Hughes Falcon missile originally intended for the J 35D , but one of the cannon was removed to give space for more avionics. The J 35F2 was a J 35F, produced with a Hughes Aircraft Company N71 infra red sensor, a so-called IR seeker. This was a change in the production line from the no 35501 airframe. J 35J In 1985 the Swedish government decided to modify 54 J 35F2's to J 35J standard. In 1987 12 more modifications where ordered. Between 1987 and 1991, the aircraft were given a longer lifespan, more modern electronics, a modernized cannon, an additional 2 sidewinder pylons under the air intakes and increased fuel capacity. The final operative J 35J flew for the last time in 1999. Saab 35BS Used J 35Bs sold to Finland. Saab 35FS Used J 35Fs sold to Finland. Saab 35OE In the mid 1980s, Saab purchased back 24 J 35D aircraft from the Swedish Air Force and converted them into the J 35O version (also called J 35OE in English literature). These were later exported to Austria. http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autoc...p;showfile=8000

  15. I got shot down by a Mig-15, in an F-15...head on pass, took cannon right in the face.
  16. Increase the centerline hardpoints weight limit? Need to see the data.ini's weapon section.
  17. Moved to the Knowledge Base.
  18. Moved to the Knowledge Base.
  19. http://www.simmerspaintshop.com/ That is THE site to learn how to skin everything and anything flying. From simple rivets of a B-52 to faded and worn fabric of a WWI aircraft. That site is just a miracle to novice and experienced simmers alike.
  20. That too.
  21. Dear god you and my wife have the same craptop. Are you seeing her on the side?
  22. Also in addition to editing that, I think also in the data.ini make sure it’s not exported. Change it to FALSE and it will affect the years it’s available too.
  23. I was thinking, here is a list of my favorite mods and aircraft of 2008. What was yours? Favorite Planes: F-101 series by Erikgen RF-4C and F-8's by TMF Bobrocks Harrier My favorite mods I worked on with a team: F-22 by Dels F-101 by Erikgen Favorite Terrain mods: TREES MAN TREES!!!!! CA_Stary and Deuces Newcoming mod team of the year goes to the: German Modder Group 2 outstanding planes, the Sabres and the ThunderFLASH. Newcomers of the Year. Veltro2K and Klavs41. Veltros stuff....look at the list, its pretty long. Klavs F-35, simply oustanding. But the hard part would be, what is THE plane or mod of 2008? Pick only 1. There can be only 1! So this should give you all something to think about on this Monday morning post holiday hangover. I will reveal my pick later.
  24. Hey Ed We got the Hanoi Taxi here at the USAF museum. Do you need any up close pics of the plane itself? And when I mean up close, I can touch the damn thing.
  25. I know why its slow, its your system. The only time I get any FPS hit in this sim is when I am trying to run too many aircraft with 2048x2048 skins (some are 4096x4096). Other than that it run with out a hiccup and that is everything unlimited. Outdated code, I disagree, other than multi-threading, he has added tons of features to take full advantage off the newer kinds of effects etc. Looks at how the effects are modeled, clouds, shading, all things he couldn't do back in 2002. Some of us been modding this sim for 6 years, some of us have been beta testers on most of it too. Check the credits. So I think we know pretty much what we are saying. However if the sim disapppoints you that much FPS wise then shelve it. I for one am very pleased with it. I can run this thing on my wife's craptop. It seems that when people complain about the FPS, it is when they are worried more about eye candy than playability. I am pleased I can run with all the eye candy, however, if I couldnt burt wanted a sim with that, I would fly FSX. I am here to dogfight, not site see.
