  3. A Belgian CR.42 of 4/II. A bit of a cheat really - just a change of national markings. The struts need to be camouflaged and individual aircraft numbers added to the rudder.

  5. Martin Baltimore right? A great addition. Any chance of a Maryland?
  6. Just started but looks interesting. Any thoughts welcome.
  7. The MkIII was probably the most numerous at the beginning of the war. That means we have all the early WWII RAF medium bombers. Only operational on one front so not a lot of variation in skins, but a Coastal Command skin would be nice. That would mean putting radar antennae all over the fuselage.
  8. Just spotted a mistake on the decal.ini file. The right-side finflash should be reversed. [Decal003] MeshName=Vtail DecalLevel=2 DecalFacing=RIGHT FilenameFormat=GladiatorMK2/SAAF/D/Flash Position=-3.0,0.93 Scale=0.8 Reverse=True Lloyd
  9. Looks fantastic already mate!!
  10. Cocas The Gladiator skin is coming along slowly. I should be able to send it to you in the weekend. As I'm interested in the East Africa campaign, I've done a SAAF skin. The markings are only a layer on the graphic file so they are easily swapped for RAF or FAA if needed. After you've released the Gladiator, I'll put the template up. We really need more people to give skinning a go. Lloyd
  11. Progress shots on the Gladiator.
  12. Coming along nicely. If you could, it would be nice if the bumps (very technical I know!)on the nacelles over the pistons and the balancing rod for the dorsal machine gun could be added.
  13. Great At this stage I'm thinking: - Malta (Hal Far) Sea Gladiators - Early war RAF - SAAF for East Africa - Chinese Nationalists Then I'll put the templates up to encourage others to have a go. The MkI had a two-blade prop and a different spinner.
  14. A mouth-watering project. How about a four-toned early war scheme - Upper wings in dark earth and dark green, and lower wings in light earth and light green. Th fuselage goes from one scheme to the other about half way down. I see Capun has released a MkII. Having a MkI and a Sea Gladiator would be nice but not vital. Wrench Did you say you have the Mushroom Gladiator book? Does it come with a pull-out of the panel lines? If so, that would be really useful. I have just bought the Warpaint volume on the Gladiator - another aircraft book I have to sneak past the wife. Lloyd
  15. Did you hear the England football team went to visit an orphanage in South Africa this morning. "It's good to put a smile on the faces of people with no hope, constantly struggling and facing the impossible" said Sibusiso Umboto, aged 6
  16. Oh well, the dream is over. No losses and third in the group is a great achievement for a team that most pundits said would struggle to score a point and probably wouldn't get any goals. Good luck to Slovakia. They certainly deserve to progress. Lloyd
  17. I've been down an put a bet on NZ to go through to the next round. That would require us to beat Paraguay or draw and rely on the Slovakia v Italy match. 6 to 1. I think the odds of NZ making the second round at the start of the World Cup was closer to 50 to 1. I should have had more faith then.
