  1. Hell, I thought the previous releases were nice, these are top shelf. I have a feeling these are gonna get flown quite a bit by me.... Great work, you folks never cease to amaze.....
  2. The loss of a pet is tough, they become family members for sure. My first cat (on my own) had to be put down several years ago. I lived with here for 10 years, she was given to me by my wife (we were dating at the time) She went back while they administered the dose, and held "Stretch" until she left this world. I could not be there as I was on duty at the Fire station. My wife called me, and I could not believe she was present during the euthanization. I told her I would not have been strong enough to watch that happen, but knew that Stretch would have appreciated touch of a family member in her final moments. She was a pure "indoor" cat, but when we had a house built that year, we allowed her to roam the backyard, knowing she could not get over the privacy fence. She loved that freedom, using the dog door to go in and out as she pleased. Sorry for your loss......
  3. Outstanding, I will be in Columbus visiting family, but hope to make an excursion up there while we are close. I could spend hours in the book store alone!
  4. Hate to drag things back to the topic, but I will be up that way next week. The last time i went, I had my heart on seeing the Mig-29. They apparently had moved it to paint it or something, is it back on display yet? And if so, is it out on the base, or at the main facility?
  5. My wife just showed me that clip the other day. Yeah, it would be awesome as nose art...... "Where are my virgins!?!"
  6. I know it was not an accident, but it had to be quite a pucker factor when that BUFF flew from Minot to Barksdale with live nukes on board and nobody noticed. (As Homer Simpson would say DOH)
  7. "I know... let's have a spelling bee...." Doc Holliday, Tombstone "I want you to stand there, in your faggity white uniform, and show me some common f**king courtesy" Col Nathan Jessup, A Few Good Men
  8. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! The troops here at Falcon started it off perfectly with flag football....E-5 and below versus E-5 and above. Tie game when i came back to the fire station.... God bless our troops and families!
  9. If I could get a REAL drink in this craphole, I would drink a toast to you and your friend. The folks that did it for real (My old man included) have my total respect. The Wild Weasel mission always fascinated me, they really put it all out there to protect the rest of the package.....what were the old sayings - YGBSM, or First In, Last Out And one of the newer sayings - Chicks dig Weasels, Weasels dig chicks........
  10. Wow, you guys stirred up some memories! C64 (on which i played the ORIGINAL MS Flight Simulator), Amiga also.... The closest my dysfunctional family ever came together was my younger brother, my dad and myself taking turns playing Microprose Gunship. One of us would get a high enough score to win a virtual MOH; the other two scrambling to match the mission score.......sad to most people i guess, but it has been my only real hobby for many years.......
  11. This is the longest I have ever played one game! Bought the original (Not the Walmart fiasco version) when it came out, then bought Wings Over Vietnam. Downloaded WoE, (And even First Eagles). The life span has been extended by all of you out there that put in such hard work on the add ons. (Too many to mention!) How awesome it is to be able to hop in any of the great aircraft TK and the rest of you made available, and feel like a pilot for a while! Let's hope many more great add ons are on the horizon.... Stay Safe BG
  12. This is gonna be awesome! Does not look like there is a landing deck, I am guessing UAVs on board for directing those massive guns, or for maritime surveillance. Heck, let's do a 'What If...' carrier... more ships!!!! Oh wait, I have no talent for this sort of thing, I will leave it to the talented experts!
  13. had it in my hands, but put it back and bought GRAW2. My wife was the one of all people that told me about MOH:Airborne, and she NEVER talks about my games! Guess that was the sign I should have bought it..........

    GRAW 2

I have loved the whole R6, GR series from the start. I bought GRAW at the end of last year, only got through a few missions in the campaign (work work work), but like it. I bought GRAW2 last month, and ArmA, have not plunged into either. I also had GRAW on PS2, not bad either. I have Vista, have not experienced any issues with it, even though I expect some.
  15. downloading now, can't wait to fly it. I was recently wondering if this mod was to see completion. I remember a teaser about it months ago......... .......I would never dream of making money from it in the first place, but RAPING MY TV!?! sicko!
  16. Surely, Comical Ali will be nominated..........
  17. oh, yeah, books...... I have a nice collection myself. The museum at Wright-Pat has an outstanding book store, I could have spent a small fortune there. (Actually did 5 years ago when I went - A book on the B-1, one on the F-14, another on the B-57) Back at Christmas I was there again, picked up some hard bound books on the Stearman, and one on the T-38.
  18. In Alabama, you would find the odd alligator in the carport during the summer!!! And as for the buck, he looks all cute and cuddly, but you let one in, they ALL want in. And we just can't have that.....
  19. I spent a day in December dragging the wife through this hangar! She actually took interest in this part of this museum, where as I could have spent a week there..............
  20. this one will be outstanding! can't wait......
  21. Great pictures! I have been using Flickr to post some pics on the web from "over here". Looks like the vacation was a blast, would love to see that part of the world. That Boeing museum could make a vacation for me in itself! Coincidentally, on the IFF program - I had recently found info on the original program at Holloman in the early 70s. My dad was like the fourth IP to check in 1973, (465th TFTS back then). They flew three times a day, six days a week....sometimes hungover! Originally designed to be 8 weeks, they pumped out a class at one point every three weeks. Lots of class graduation parties, resulting in the 465th from being banned from the O'club for foodfights and the like! I found this big write up on an Air Force history site, and forwarded it to him, gave him some memories of the glory days!
  22. Cool idea, hope you can make this happen!
  23. sswwwweeeeeet! By far the coolest F-16 ever, can't wait......
  24. Awesome work there, can't wait. So this like many other Swedish designs is seeing some export success!
