"Women have the right to work wherever they want, as long as they have the dinner ready when you get home" A hilariously funny but "wrong" one...Made me laugh! "Life is tough, but it's tougher when you're stupid." One i actually disagree with! "Talk low, talk slow and don't say too much." "Healthy, lusty sex is wonderful" I love this man!! He's my alltime hero! "I'm the stuff men are made of" Hahaha! Nice attitude! "There were great numbers of people who needed new land, and the Indians were selfishly trying to keep it for themselves" Another controversial one..... Takes guts (or NO brains) to say that out loud! "I'll have you spread-eagled on a wagon wheel." And my parents told me everything was better, nicer and more civilized in the old days...
  2. You're doing a great job there!
  3. Yippee!! Another nice Fishbed!
  4. Oh well, She made a nice pin-up in my barracks! Don't care if she had to share her one brain cell with the rest of the playmates. Bet she don't look that pretty nowadays....
  5. Hello all, I have tried to create yet a historical P-51D skin, which can be found and downloaded here: http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autoc...p;showfile=6067 Just something I whipped up, nothing fancy but realistic, enjoy! PS: Thanks Wrench

Hi, Another experiment. This skin represents H-325, a P-51D Mustang of the RNEIAF; the Royal Netherlands East Indies Air Force which operated from their colony. Several of the Dutch Mustangs were later put into AURI (later TNI-AU) service and partially retained their serial number. In WW2 this machine started as H3-625 (USAAF serial 44-84474), after the war it was renamed H-325 and the Dutch flags were replaced with the Dutch roundels. It was put into service by AURI as F-325 and flew with the Indonesians until it 's crash in 1949, May 1st. That's the story for this Stang. Muesli PS: thank you Wrench, for a fabulous base upon which I was able to create this skin!

Hello! In my second effort to create a Dutch Meteor skin I have tried to recreate 3W-3, a meteor F.8 from 322 Squadron in the Netherlands. Although I have tried to be accurate, the result is far from it... The end result is this, and I am pleased with it. So it is NOT 100% accurate, but it IS a Dutch Meteor! Muesli Thanks to Gramps for the texture skin.

    Space Hulk

Ahhh, That brings back memories... Warhammer 40,000 still is nice, a pity only Dawn of War is a running franchise of it.

Hi, In my effort to create a Dutch Meteor skin I have tried to recreate I-69, one surviving Meteor F.4 in the Netherlands. Although I have tried to be accurate, the result is far from it... the "Polly" decal on the tail should be above the horizontal stabilizer but I couldn't figure out how the skin was pasted on the model. The end result is this, and I am pleased with it. So it is NOT 100% accurate, but it IS a Dutch Meteor! Muesli Thanks to Gramps for the texture skin. PS: also thanks to Kirsten for the roundel advice, roundel shrunk a little.

  14. Damn!! Was there last year, and had frequent discussions like "what if..." and I guess now it's there..... Cuba as we know/knew it will change.
  15. There already is one (I have it!). Ciao!
  16. Ey???? What????
  17. Ah, damn! This is the best thread I have seen in years! Hahahaha, keeps me cracking up! Even the "missus" is laughing! Thanks Nicky, you rule! Muesli
  18. Hello 101tfs, the little wings on the front are called "canards". It is looking fine, I am curious about the end result! Cheers!
  19. I see nobody mentioned Jet pilot!!!! I mean, it is not the most effective airplane movie aroud (being a John Wayne love story in disguise) but it is certainly a classic! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0050562/ I mean, the story is a bit cheesy, but you get to see all kinds of 1950 birds flying around nicely! And that in a time most cineasts only dreamed of using derelict WW2 planes! Thank you Howard Hughes!!! Muesli PS: for fun http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autoc...p;showfile=5940
  20. Any of them, it's all welcome. Thanks for the tips and all advice!

  22. Hello dear fellow members, I would appreciate it is anybody can point me in the direction of finding templates for the MiG-15(UTI), MiG-23, MiG-27, MiG-29 and Su-17/-22, Su-27. I am planning to make a heap of special one-off skins for these birds but only have templates for the more common types. Instead of a link in the direction I also appreciate it if you sent me yours. Upon uploading a new skin, proper credits will be given of course. Thanks in advance, Muesli

View File Fictional "Yak-12" from the movie Jet Pilot (Pasko) Just a little tribute to an unknown jewel on the silver screen.A black painted T-33 skin from the movie "Jet Pilot". <a href="http://"http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0050562/"" target="_blank">http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0050562/</a> In the movie "Jet Pilot" by Howard Hughes John Wayne is a USAF pilot in a Sabre intercepting a black "Yak-12". He says a moment later that is surprisingly looks like their T-33.... blablabla for the rest of the (romantic) story......It is a very nice movie made between 1950 and 1957 with a very nice plane line-up: F-86, F-89, F-94, B-50, B-36, X-1, T-33. All "enemy" fighters in this movie were painted grey and black, so you can see F-86's and a F-89 in black, as is the T-33. With many thanks to Column5, Gramps and Pasko who created this T-33. Enjoy! 25. Hey Wrench, strange that you got the "broken" message. I hope this skin brings back memories for some. As I said it is some kind of movie history. For me, I'm just impressed by Howard Hughes' work and I like the effort (in 1950!! Although the film is released in 1957) of making Soviet planes out of the limited resource he had. Hope the new file works (not a masterpiece, but I'm not that kind of specialist).
