  1. Hahahahaha, that saying sounds ridiculous in English. Thanks, and I hope you like it! Ciao dude!
  2. View File Hawker Sea Fury FB.51, MLD 860 Sqn Hello all, Again a release of a Dutch paint job, I have used a skin by Tim Canada. The Hawker flew with the Dutch for a while. The aircraft of 860 Sqn were recognisable by their orange spinner and were stationed on the aircraft carrier HMS Karel Doorman for a while. The number 6 stands for the letter F, while this is the 6th letter in the alphabet (! Yep, some creative thinking there) and it stands for fighter or fighter-bomber. Other aircraft were stencilled with the number 10, being the 10th letter (J meaning "jager" meaning fighter) but I think these were all from 3 Sqn recognisable by a white spinner. These were land based at naval airbase Valkenburg (close to Katwijk). For now, enjoy! PS: Thanks for letting me alter your fantastic skin, Tim Canada! 3. Now available as download in the Cold War skins section!
  4. What if one of us, SFP1 users, who has the F. version uploads it to this site?

  6. Based on our national pride of that time, The HMS Karel Doorman, this is an orange nosed Sea Fury FB.51 of the Marine Luchtvaart Dienst. This is just a test, after more fiddling I will probably add the skin somewhere next week! Ciao!
  7. View File Leeuwarden based KLu Hunter F.4 (mod) This is one of several Fokker-built Hunters of the KLu. This one was one of several stationed at airbase Leeuwarden and was part of 630 squadron when they were still flying aircraft instead of doing airbase security. It was essentially a F.4 on which the wings of the F.6 type were joined. these have dogtooth trailing edges. Enjoy this handsome one! (Thanks Sundowner for the use of the basic Hunter skin!) PS: This skin is to be used for AD's Hunter F.6, so NOT for the standard Hunter FGA in WOE!! -As adviced by "Kirsten"I have enlarged the squadron logo to be more in proper proportions with the real thing!- Submitter Muesli Submitted 10/01/2007 Category Hunter, Lightning and Vampire Skins
  8. View File Royal Dutch Airforce Hunter F. Mk.4 (mod) This is one of several Fokker-built Hunters of the KLu which were stationed in Papua New Guinea in the early sixties. It was essentially a F.4 on which the wings of the F.6 type were joined. these have dogtooth trailing edges. The tail represents the PNG flag. Enjoy this handsome one! (Thanks Sundowner for the use of the basic Hunter skin!) PS: This skin is to be used for AD's Hunter F.6, so NOT for the standard Hunter FGA in WOE!! 13. Ehm, I have the file here. I concerted the BMP into a JPG to ease upload. Simply make a BMP of the Hunter_1 file again and play! Ciao
  14. Hey dudes, managed to fiddle with the tail and create a Dutch Hunter from the New Guinea era. Looks rather spiffy if I may say so!
  15. The one downloadable on this site. It is AD's Hunter F.6. Enjoy!
  16. And here the file, if you like it a bit... It's only one aircraft, only one serial. I do not have the time (yet) to make a decal set. Ciao guys, enjoy!
  17. Hey all, still fiddling around and reading the site Simmers Paintshop. In that time I have painted a Hunter for you. Remember, I am still learning and practising.! Muesli

    Day of days......

As a young "kid" I volunteered to join the Dutch Army during the Balkan crisis in the former Yugoslavia. Being in a country too small to have good experience dealing with its soldiers, I returned home after 6 months all left to my own fate. Here, when damaged psychologically, you are abandoned by the society. Therefore I can only say that you have done a noteworthy and honorable thing. My cudo's to you my friend! Wish there were more like you.
  19. Thanks for all the help and tips guys! You'll hear from me soon! Muesli
  20. Hey guys, Forgive me if the planes look like dogs, but it's my first try in making a few after-WWII skins for some planes in Dutch service! Just want to know what you think, and if someone can provide some decent photographs of these variants. I would also want to know if there is someone who can provide me with fonts for WP and NATO serial numbers?! Thanks in advance guys!
  21. Sorry, I seem completely European but I have never heard of WOE; Soviet Invasion. The one I have is Cold War Gone Hot... Therefore: ???
