  1. A gif of the scene we all keep watching.
  2. If SF2 was that detailed, I think it would be awesome if we could scramble some Kiowas as Miranda said "Rocket Attack. Rocket Attack," and commence gun runs on the guys shooting rockets at Mustang Ramp from those villages to the north. RAF set off the alarm a couple times when their Tornados would do low and fast passes.
  3. The nostalgic feels from a year ago are hitting me pretty hard right now. I miss deployment. So, I'm going to make a mission pack for the time when I was there, August 2013 to April 2014. No, I'm not making eight months worth of missions! Missions will be flown out of Kandahar Air Field for the most part, because that's where I was, and most missions will probably be flown in Regional Command South. One aircraft will be flown out of Bagram. I've already got an order of battle for the time frame. Of course I don't need one for Army Aviation's assets! Aircraft: F-16C Tornado GR4 A-10C AH-64D* *Do we have an AH-64D Apache? That's a D model without the Longbow radar. US Apaches operate in Afghanistan without Longbow. And of course there will be plenty of other AI aircraft. Those without access to the A-team website will miss out on AI helicopters and UAVs flying around though. If you don't like slow missions, CAS, or armed recon, these aren't the missions for you. Return to fighting MiGs over Hanoi. No screenshots yet because I haven't started anything. Still hunting down aircraft, textures, and ground objects. And this OOB is huge. Might be a couple days before any update.
  4. I saw the future and it's very....Lockheedish

  7. Sadly no one has chosen to model me for SF2.
  8. Playing with the Fulcrum
  9. Intruder over the Black Sea
  10. Hate to be the guy asking, but, any update on this?
  11. Don't know. It somehow managed to evade me. Could have bought it on DVD back in 2003, but didn't think to. Luckily it's on Netflix now.
  12. And I feel as though that's something that has been missing from my life. Glad I saw it. Great film. Of course you already knew that, didn't you?
  13. With the Marines, not they Navy.
  14. VAQ-134 'Garudas' four Prowlers returned home to NAS Whidbey Island yesterday. This marks an end to the EA-6B's 46 year long career in the US Navy. http://foxtrotalpha.jalopnik.com/the-navys-ea-6b-prowler-completes-its-final-carrier-cru-1659101419
  15. After only three days in the field, our two week FTX has been cancelled. Gotta love Aviation!

in signal, the standard would be 10 days and the CO would announce we were gonna do it in 8. then looked like a douchebag when it took 12. in FA the standard would be 10 days but the CO would announce 15 days and look great when we came out at 12. therefore you boys musta been really high speed!

Nah, it was really cold. BN commander said this was stupid and started asking soldiers when we should leave.

  16. I'm sure China put a lot of work into their stolen American designed indigenous designed fighter, powered by copied Russian engines and avionics indigenous engines and avionics.
  17. For some reason, none of the airfields are displaying objects of any sort. Runways, hangars, vehicles; nothing at all. Just the runway and taxiway lights. Installed into a clean, merged installation only added tonight.
  18. Sorry for your loss, DA.
  19. Packing for an FTX. This shit is way to "hooah" for me.

  20. Great news. Now that the colder weather is setting in, it's flight sim/writing season. And this is a plane I've been looking forward to for a long time.
  21. The desert scheme is going to see a return, right?
  22. Inspection and regreasing time!
  23. It was all nice and good. And then he started watching Aviation. And now we can't put our hands in our pockets anymore. THAT WAS THE ONE THING WE HAD GOING FOR US. Well that and our relaxed attitude towards that "Army" stuff.
