-
all right, fresh meat! naw, just kidding. Singapore huh? Isn't that the country that has the same name as it's capital? pretty cool.... anyway, a big welcome from the frozen north!
-
happy B-day! I was gonna bring you a birthday MiG, but... ...it started to fly away so I had to blow it up. it's the thought that counts, though. Have a good one

I think Badfrank and Goodfrank would make a frank that is good and bad. well, not good AND bad at the same time, but so bad that it's a good bad bad. or maybe they'd cancel each other out, leaving a rip in the time space contunum where good met bad and positive met negative and sweet met bitter, and it all combined into a black hole full of nothing. I have a headache. Eels? where does that come in?

Yeah, yeah. waddever. I got my latest issue of Air and Space Smithsonian today, and it has a special article on the X-planes. Did you know that in wind tunnel tests, the X-15 was carried under the left wing of the B-52, but on all the flights it was carried under the right wing. Pretty cool, huh?

well, let's just say it wasn't exactly built by the Skunkworks. Maybe the nose wheel upset the delicate lines of the nose. -

well, it doesn't look too bad from that angle, especially with that paint job. here's another plane that got wacked with the oogly stick. nose job, anyone? -
I just finished building a P-38 that I spent WAY too much time on trying to make it look old. Now I'm half done an A-10, and next I gotta do a P-51. I only really work on models in the winter, though.

WHOA! HE'S GOT AS MUCH FIREPOWER AS THE ENTIRE CANADIAN NAVY! All we have is a kid in a canoe with a .22 cal rifle! Maybe they're going to take over the Falklands. Or the UAE.

this says it all. also, I KNEW IT WAS DUKE NUKEM ALL ALONG! NOW WHO'S THE CRAZY ONE?!?!?!?!?
-
Avro Arrows for the Blue Angels? Now THAT would be noisy! (especially with the Iroquois engine)! Tree huggers beware!!!!!! It would break the NAVY's heart. Also, the Canadian aerobatics team would get a LITTLE more respect. "HEY USA! I'LL BET OUR SNOWBIRDS CAN OUT-THUNDER YOUR THUNDERBIRDS! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!" ps- where can I find an Avro Arrow for SFP1?

Sgt. Peppers tought his band to play! no... wait.... that was 20 years.

well well well, if it isn't the grinning bird eater itself. I knew it'd show up. btw, Fates, It counts, but only if you can feel the magic. That's one seriously pudgy tinkerbelle. -
All i know is that we change the designations on some (most) of our aircraft, I think because our prime minister likes to think we're totally independent from the US and UK. Or maybe he has a bizarre fetish for three digit numbers. We keep the DHC thing here for our de havillands (which we are very proud of), and sometimes we just put "C" in front of the aircraft's original name. We're just trying to be a little independent after our last independent fighter program, the Avro Arrow, got shot down (heh-heh).

Don't give San Francisco to Canada! We'll just take the bozo who wanted to save some skunk's hearing. I'm sure he'd be happy with our nice, quiet Snowbirds. UNTILL WE GET OUR CT-155s! :fans: (those are Canadian BaE Hawks if you're wondering)

Helicopters count, but that's not ugly. THIS is ugly. It's called the Mil-18. I think Mil is short for Miloslav or something. It's russian, and in typical russian style, it works great at it's job and doesn't do much else. LOOK! It can actually fly! -
Is this possible?

well, here's some pics. you decide which one is buggy a hell. here's the GR.1 Here's the ECR and here's the F.3 I'd like to see a Torn' intercepter. I hear they're pretty good (or were). -

mmmm.... pancacke..... look at this thing. It's kinda like a Curtiss comando+Ford trimotor+beluga whale. It's tough to believe it flew! looks tail-heavy to me. -
Putting Bombs on Target! The Devil way!

another tip I found it's much more accurate if you use airbrakes on the way down, but if you jink to avoid flak. I did take a little damage, but not enough to effect my plane's performance. Don't try it on ships, it's bloody tough to judge where the water is, even with the altimeter. btw, I made all my tests with F-100s. It may be different in other AC. -
