Yeah, I saw that too, very cool. Definitely a new high water mark for aircraft releases. Absolutely stunning... -

Ah, shoot. But I saw the pretty pictures in the very nicely done PDF file. Ah, just to the right it does say; I figured that meant internal, not in an actual loaded on pod. -

I have to say, this seriously raises the bar for add-on releases, absolutely gorgeous, and a joy to fly conventionally. I will be brave and attempt some VIFF'ing and short take offs and landings once I get a better "feel" for this finely crafted machine. However. I am not rivet counting, but on my shakedown run to the range, I carried a varied complement of mud-moving material, including a TIALD for the GBU's, which works wonderfully, and a gunpod. The latter is the issue. No boom-boom. Looked at the WeaponsData.ini for what I'd just compiled into the DAT file, and found this; GunTypeName=30MM_ADEN4 MaxRounds=0 <<-- This could be an issue. Dialed it to 120, my SWAG to give a full minute of fire, according to the gundata.ini's ROF entry for the Aden4. Recompiled, and took another run. No soap. I haven't used these guns on any other aircraft, that I recall, so don't know if it is my gundata.dat, or what. -

I'm on it. Give me a few, as I am flying a new beta of OBH in the Tiffy, over on the games machiner. Will start another in the USAF Lightening afterward... ___UPDATE___ Negatory, big buddy. The "A" model cockpit looks both hunky-and-dory from inside or out. This jet just rocks, IMHO... -

Max # of flights
Spectre_USA replied to JRA's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
In the other thread you mentioned you are down to 2 other pilots, this is probably why. I never, ever take more than a 4 shipper. You have fair control over a wingman, slight control over a second element, and next to no control over another flight or more. And, as you've ascertained, the AI can do `dumber than a box of rocks' quite well. At least if they are Allied... -
Have you tried this?

I think one of the nods to the poor AI manuvers TK made was to invioke a low-fuel run home mode. They won't engage, nor use AB, but they can ALWAYS make it home, usually at .95 mach, so you cannot intercept in a tail chase. Yeah, it is hard-coded. -

Comm-On-the-Move (COTM)? It should still have multi-barrel guns bristling out the left side, but I'm weird that way... -

That would probably depend greatly on what the "TM" stands for in TM Air Forces... -
Wow! Now that is sure a beauty! Is it going to take some serious placement? The PAC-1's were certainly not mobile. You must know, however, that you are a demi-God! The blue side has needed a serious SAM system for a long, LONG time in this series. I just hope it can be made to work, as prior Hawk and other systems had a hard time getting cobbled in...

Shoot, I go away for a couple of days and people start posting teh sex planes! I am incredibly happy that this one isn't dying on the vine. It will be way cool to fly the the Aardvark's younger, and much bigger, brother... ___EDIT___ How could I forget the word "fly?" Implied? -

There are also some seriously sweet target areas as well. Have you seen the target rich environments at depots? They are usually fairly well defended, but if you carry some stand-off weapons and plink those, then roll in on the depots, you can rack up some serious kills! I've had 45+ in a few missions, and the points are huge... -

Yowch! Broken wrists aren't fun, and seem to take forever to heal. Have had one on each. You gotta love those odd angled casts. Get better, man...
