    This would be a true fictional aircraft.  Argentina and Britain are not close, and definitely not close after the 1982 Falklands war.  I might add the '82 war was the high point of the Harrier AGAINST the Argentine Air Force.  Still, everyone should get what they want.  If you want a Argentine Harrier, I'm hardly the guy to say no to that.

    From the Veinticinco de Mayo wiki page;

    In September 1969, during the voyage of the recently bought Veinticinco de Mayo from the Netherlands, Hawker Siddeley demonstrated their Harrier GR.1 on board the carrier for a possible sale to the Argentine Navy.

    This is a nice model and it flies real good.

    Tip! In the aircraft.ini I've added shadows and there's absolutely no issues with 'ropes' or anything.

    Pretty cool "What-If" mod and it's not all that fictional! If memory serves, the USAAF was looking to buy this plane, so one or more existed for a time with USAAF livery for the test trials. Ultimately, they passed as newer US built planes were being developed that would have made the Meteor obsolete in the near future.

    Yes, but it was more for short-term evaluation than any potential purchase.

    'The Gloster Meteor' by Edward Shacklady (the Meteor bible) further explains that this was a temporary swap-over with Meteor and Airacomet going back to their homelands.
