  3. Good luck. Thanks to Raven, I've become a fan of the P-40 having previously been very indifferent to it.

  5. Very inventive! Hope it works out.
  6. ANT-34 - Soviet Air Force, June 1941 Designed by Andrei Nikolayevich Tupolev the ANT-34 was an advanced twin-engined monoplane bomber first flown in July 1933. Development was slow however and it did not enter service until November 1937 by which time it's designer had become a victim of Stalin's purges and was arrested on false claims of sabotage, espionage and supporting the Russian Fascist Party. Production was slowed to a trickle and, with initial deliveries being sent to the Spanish Republican Air Force, only 120 ANT-34's were in front-line service at the start of the German invasion of the Soviet Union in June 1941 where they became easy prey for Luftwaffe fighters.

  13. Agreed! In fact, freedom for everyone. And especially for the oppressed citizens of Tooting.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMKsR_wUSfA
  14. Very good Mario. Funny thing is, my gut instinct would be that the 'Emil' would still prevail over the 'Zero'.

  19. The single-stage Merlin 500 series engines had more in common with the post-war transports like the Lancastrian and York than the two-stage Merlin 61 (and 63/ 63A) engines used in the Spitfire IX. Apparently, this was a nod in the direction of longevity as opposed to all-out engine performance.
  20. I've only ever noticed reduced FPS in SF1 and, on the same machine, SF2 was noticeably faster and smoother. My current rig for the past two years is pretty modest and runs SF2 like a charm.
