  1. http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showt...uette&st=20 There was an Alouette III project, but unfortunately it's been cancelled. Maybe someone else will have a go? As for the SF-260, I don't think anything is being worked on. If you want to use my Angolan Mi-24 skin (or any of the other African ones) please feel free. I've got skins for Capun's Mi-8 series for Angola and Mozambique that are very early WIP. I'll try and get them out in due course. BTW, I've seen some posts about doing this for SF2. Wouldn't it make more sense to use WOI as the base program? it includes the Hunter, as well as the Israeli jets that you're contemplating using, and with the Dakota to be included in the Suez addon, you'll get another SAAF/Rhodesian bird in the hangar without having to get permission to use a third party version.
  2. Phew! Thought I'd pasted the wrong link for a sec!
  3. Isn't this the Lynx, by another name? http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?s=&am...st&p=247632
  4. Looks like those Forger WIPs will have somewhere to fly from.
  5. Looking forward to all of these Baltika. Maybe hold off on BoB until Veltro finishes the Defiant?
  6. I think there are 9 arrows in the map picture, and there are 9 B-70s in the comic picture. I think we're getting this comic, I mean graphic novel, in episodes. Or there could be a new version of OTC in the works. Or a B-70?
  7. two Apaches would be good. You could have an A model and a Longbow model with the mast mounted radar.
  8. Maybe a sea tile with a carrier painted on it? Or does that sound silly?
  9. Yep. The data.ini will extract to the Objects folder, so you will then need to cut and paste it to the individual plane's folder in the Aircraft folder.
  10. To misquote Oscar Wilde: To lose these prisoners once may be regarded as a misfortune; to lose them twice looks like carelessness.
  11. It's exactly the same procedure in WOV & SFG as in WOE. If you're trying to add pilots to the stock aircraft you need to extract the the aircraft's data.ini files first.
  12. Its in here: http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autoc...p;showfile=4363
  13. Just noticed, and sorry to go OT, but the primary target in the screenies is a MiG-23UB. I didn't know there was a 2-seater Flogger available.
  14. I've always wanted to get a Saab ever since John Gardner gave James Bond a Saab 900 Turbo in his books. Maybe I can pick up a cheap one now, or a Viggen or Gripen....
  15. You need to edit the data.ini of the aircraft you want to modify. The instructions are probably in the KB, but here's a link to the relevant page on Wrench's site. http://wrench1smog.com/wrench14.html
  16. I think I'm going to have to update my Israeli Airforce thread. Looking forward to all of these mods soon guys.
  17. Looks like Operation Reciprocity might be a go. A couple of questions: For the canal locks, could the jetties from EAWEurope act as stand ins? I don't suppose the map stretches up to Belize does it? I've quite fancied trying a British/Guatamalan fight like in this novel: http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0.../authordatabase
  18. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7892294.stm Sounds like both crew are OK, and there were no problems with the weapons or reactors which is good news. Presumably the heavy seas prevented them from hearing each other? Or maybe they were too busy trying to avoid Carl Stromberg's big submarine catching oil tanker!
  19. Looks like it's on the way... http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?s=&am...st&p=238589
  20. Funny you should say that. I remember reading somewhere that Top Gun was actually conceived as a sequel to An Officer and a Gentleman. I think Jerry Brukheimer (sp?) worked on that movie and had read an article on Top Gun and put 2 and 2 together. Here's another quote: Jester: That was some of the best flying I've seen to date - right up to the part where you got killed.
  21. Viper: Good morning, gentlemen, the temperature is 110 degrees. Wolfman: Holy s**t, it's Viper! Goose: Viper's up here, great... oh s**t... Maverick: Great, he's probably saying, "Holy s**t, it's Maverick and Goose." Goose: Yeah, I'm sure he's saying that.
  22. Happy birthday big guy! http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/7880808.stm Looking forward to this one Ed.
