Edit: Forgot to say, I had a look through the pictures, and there are pics of Buccs and Phantoms, Gannets, SeaKings, and Guatemalan F-51s, T-33s and C-47s. The 1972 crisis also involved RAF Harriers and Canberras too. There's stuff about NATO ops (including picture of Ark Royal in dock dwarfed by Nimitz), Bear\Badger\Bison intercepts and the Falklands too.

I had a cousin who worked for Bae on the Nimrod AEW project. I remember speaking to him after it was cancelled in favour of AWACS and he said although he was disappointed for the company he couldn't argue with the decision. He had real look of relief on his face that they weren't going to get bogged down with a project that was going to haunt a lot of careers for a long time and probably never end up as what it was intended to be.

On you second question you're right, but then you wouldn't be able to fly those planes in single missions after the end date you put into the data.ini
