  3. Could you expand a bit on "enbseries drivers?" What are they are where can we find them? Thanks.
  4. Thanks. Making computer game stuff is a good hobby for an old geezer - keeps me interested and involved. I should wrap up the Bulge objects pretty soon and then release them in First Eagles: reduce 63% for FE game maps, remove snow from artwork, plus add some walls and farm animals. Then, I'll resume work on the Spanish Civil War stuff.
  5. Yesterday, a buddy flew in an old Ford trimotor and sent me some shots.
  6. I'm cooperating with Baffmeister on WW2 objects because there is a lot of overlap between what he is doing with his Bulge mod, and stuff I want to make for 1938/Africa in FE2. First shot below shows commonality between early-war short barreled Pz4s and late-war long barrel Pz4. Subsequent shots show progress on other ground objects.
  7. While a couple of items need more work, most of the Bulge stuff is done.
  8. The Battered Bastards of Bastogne...
  9. Thanks. I should transition back to SCW objects in a few weeks - they will look even better in FE's more realistic game world.
  10. On the home stretch - most of the buildings, figures, and vehicles are done. But...some of them still need a little tweaking. Most of the buildings and vehicles can be used in FE maps.
  11. Great stuff! As usual, really excellent work. I look forward to working with you on SCW stuff as I transition away from the Bulge stuff.
  12. Shot of most, but not all, buildings. Still have lots of figures and vehicles to finish. When these Bulge versions are done, the snowy roofs will be deleted and sent to Gterl for testing in FE.
  13. Looks like the buildings are done, so now I'm working on vehicles and targets. WIP shots of German command truck below. All of the buildings and most of the figures and vehicles can be used in both 1938 and Bulge mods.
  14. The model is almost ready to send to Baffmeister, and I've resumed work on the skins.
  15. Yes, some of the Italian green colors were darker. The Italian camo concept utilized several different shades of green, brown, sand, etc. The intent was the units could choose colors that best matched the season and local terrain. The paint job in 4 Vientos museum is just one of many possible color combinations used in the SCW. Morato's aircraft was repainted several times so it depends on which version you select - I liked the scheme in Osprey's FIAT CR32 Aces. 16. Many of them can be found here in the CA downloads for FE: http://combatace.com/files/category/360-first-eagles-wwi-and-early-years-add-on-aircraft/
  17. While tweaking the model, I had a little fun testing it ingame.

Both a Spanish Civil War version and a 1940 ground attack version are in development.

    WW2 Looking Back

In reference to the US Army Air Corps casualties, I once read an article where the US insurance industry estimated you were more likely to survive the war as an infantryman than as a bomber crewman. For example, the infamous Schweinfurt raids suffered far more damage/casualties than the official records show because many aircraft that limped home were badly damaged and carried wounded crewmen. Neither the planes nor the crew were fit for duty when operations resumed, so the true number of men/machines out of the fight was close to 60%! Given time, many aircraft were repaired and many men recovered from their wounds, but they were not available immediately after the raids so they were technically casualties.
