Well I have done my bit yesterday and today by eating multiple Bacon Sandwixhes and a Fry up....

ME I voted for the lot as there is something about them all I really enjoy and to be honest they are all great... I veer towards Air to Ground and Sead in the 86 one as life gets interesting trying to take out SAM's with Flankers et al chasing you all over the sky while protecting the strike package...

Okay what I find best is to point you Jet at the offending Radar using your RWR... be about 8 miles out and then pull the nose up slightly and then shoot the missile off... it will then track the radar but be aware if there are other radar's about then it might go after one of those... I get a rough 80% chance of a kill even with early model Shrike A's I find that if I am inside 3 miles though the missile will not track correctly... Hope this helps...

Saying that though I did an Fresh install for WOE a couple of nights ago and that was asking if I wanted to do the merged install with my WOV... So merged has been around for awhile...

Be a man and uses Guns :rofl: Sorry couldnt resist as to doing that you would need to edit the campaign editor and go to the Squadron you are flying in and go to the weapon list and increase the number in there. Would most likely need to get a new pilot though I have not tried it.

Okay I tried this and with the community pack everything worked fine until I started adding extra weapons and then it all went pear-shaped as at present I cant even get the weapons to show correctly... I have tried to use the new Editor and the old Editor and both fail... Running WOE WOV WOI on XP...

Those are the SA-11's very dangerous to deal with even low flying isnt a given against them and flying super high doesnt help either as in RL I think its both an IR and a Radar guided missile... And yes you are right this mod is great fun and a big thanks to all involved again... Still having fun with my Tornado F-3... Now at 12 kills and 4 of those are the Dreaded Flanker...

As to defeating them is not easy and makes it all the more fulfiling when you beat them...

My Plan against the Mighty Flanker... Go to the Pub... Seriously though I prefer the old Stay under 500ft preferably under 200ft around 500kts when I get illuminated start jinking and if carrying a centreline Jam pod switch it on (And if not why not?) followed with the old Chaff and Flares keep jinking when you get underneath them pop the nose and go vertical get a tone with a winder and let him have it... or if your feeling brave go guns on him works for me... about 80% of the time the rest of the time I corkscrew all over the sky in a vain hope... Otherwise I try and make the missile hit the ground by doing dives and climbs at low level... found the later out with a RF-4C getting chased by Mig-31's and Su-30's now that was interesting.... and all I was doing was a photo run... tsk tsk...

Okay Downloaded and now annoyed the Neighbours as it sounds like WW3 has been declared next door Volume up to Max... serves em right for keeping me awake in the day when I work nights... Started an F-3 Campaign and 2 sorties in 5 kills listed are 2 Mig-31 1 Mig-27 1 Mig-23 1 Mig-29 (That one took some killing made the mistake of getting into a gunfight and it turned into a knifefight in a phone box took nearly 5 mins got him while vertical scissoring) Scenery looks fantastic and love the fog effect as to night time damn thats good... My Thanks to all involved....
