  6. Yes the Indian Jaguars do have the ability but they carry Magic IRM's. Also some Indian Mirages carry a Radar in the nose for use with the Sea Eagle Anti-ship missile. The majority though have a seeker head in the nose for laser duties cant remember if it had a designation ability. But the RAF used the TIALD system once this came into service.
  7. Holy Moly RussoUk thats a banana office... just checked me Bucc book and damn thats good...
  8. And as the Bucc was known as the Banana Bomber it does seem very appropriate...
  9. The range was greater than 1 mile it was in order of over the range of the missile which granted isnt that great anyway... only 6km's... but it gave the system the ability to track it to get the missile's away... granted the system might be turned to mush before they hit the jet... lol

  11. As I work in IT and have had access to Vista XP and Windows 7 and compared them like for like on same spec PC's I would wait for 7 when it comes out...

  13. My apologies and my thanks... I will stay quiet from now on... and on the same note I have just bought a fantastic book on the Buccaneer http://www.amazon.co.uk/Blackburn-Buccanee...g/dp/1861268718 and so far its been a fasinating read.
  14. All I can say is I spent 7 days evading them back in the 90's and that was fun and games and a lot of hard work... best thing is to follow the plan nad keep your fitness levels up... if thats what your after... try run 4 times a week anymore and you can damage your muscles and try to get some light weights / push ups & situps in to keep your upper body in shape also try and get some swimming in as its good for all your muscles I used to swim a mile in the sea and then run the mile back as a cool down... and that kept me in good shape but I was playing rugby at the time as well...
  15. I remember the outcry at Farnborough when the BAe Rapier tracked either the Stealth Fighter or B-2 as they went over... and not just optically but with the Blindfire radar system...
  16. Spinners Nice colour scheme on the Eagle but the RAF would have bought Tomcats and we all know it given them Spey Engines... and scared the bejesus out of the boys flying eagles at Mildenhall like the F-14D drivers did across the river from Langley when they got the D Tomcats brand new and where testing them out...
  17. Just sat and watched it and to be honest even now the old Dragon Lady still cuts the mustard after all these years. As to the moon landings we should have kept going... as there would be nothing more special than being able to go into Space to set foot on other soil away from earth. As May says at the end :- If we can all view the Earth from this view point just once in our lives it would change politics forever... Very profound statement and as I have only been to 40000ft I would say possibly very true...
  18. What no RAMSTEIN http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=doTBT46wMvA

  20. Allied Force if you didnt know is built on Falon 4... so try looking for that as well... its based in Korea instead of the Balkans. I will also take a look through my old stuff see if I have a copy if you want. Can send it to you by post as your practically down the road.
  21. I fly low and silent until I am detected and then I go active... I have noticed as well that the Red Air do evaded SAHM and AHM more effectively now than they used to which makes life interesting when trying to whittle down multiple migs but it does make it less of a turkey shoot now. You have to think about making your kills which leads to some interesting and long dogfights...
  22. I have Falcon Allied Force and have played it since Falcon 3 came out and even now Systems wise it is still extremely difficult to beat as I can fly the jet all day long I can do tough and go's for hours but when it comes to fighting the jet thats where the fun begins (read fun as difficulty) as the Sim replicates the systems on the old F-16 to the nth degree and then some I think its somewhere around 95%. Also it should run a dream on your laptop...
  23. Damn how we going to keep the chav's down now!!!
