  1. i understand yours too (space). i was stuck in it for about 6 months. to each their own as they can do..
  2. i was there for many years. then got exposed to two screens when i went back to school then went to three when i got this desktop. going back to a laptop over the winter (especially while learning Maya) was .... very f ckin frustrating!
  3. or that retired fighters can speed up amazon deliveries...
  4. youre thinking too small Win11 (after activating TPM and upgrading from Win10). 3 monitors system just shuffles everything to the other two screens when i load the game up no UllyB, he aint greedy. cause im finding three to have ...... irritating limits
  5. Transitions

thats wicked you guys are really taking it above and beyond my original concept. i just figured on show casing two different aircraft at a given transitional point in the unit's history like the 706th TFS swapping Hogs to Vipers on a rainy New Orleans day....
  6. SF2 has run on Win10. at least i was able to with minimal issue all the way back to the beta testing period . one release hiccuped the game, but it hiccuped alot of things and MS release another version less than a week later. i have not had Win10 Pro but i cant see why that would be an issue It also runs on Win11. I have no problems with my laptop which was built as a Win11 system. i get a few issues with my desktop, which i upgraded from Win10 to Win11 after activating the TPM bit. usually those issue involve something else running while im trying to fly a quick mission in SF2 you should not have to roll back to Win7 at all. I dont think you need to leave Win10Pro, try just running the install in compatability model. NOTE: i have never had to do this. but many others here have and will say that you need to do this
  7. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1182949065401537/?hoisted_section_header_type=recently_seen&multi_permalinks=1950343915328711 dont know if youre still working on ANG Mustangs, but heres a few more pics from a FB group i watch
  8. Two-Seater Tuesdays

you know, this could have been a scene out of RSR, all depending.......
  9. no worries, thats why theres an file action tab on the bottom left (for the file authors) what i have been doing for a while is to write my readme, then copy and paste that as most of the text for the release. lets me see the organization well before it goes online youll learn and figure out your own way as time goes on
  10. i wouldnt worry. nothing happens if you dont ask and bring stuff up the worst case would have been someone said "its mine, dont release". then you'd still have it on your system for your own enjoyment
  11. yeah just give Matt due credit i was on the A-37 team with hime back in 14-15 before he dropped off the face of the earth. he's doing ok now but still isnt personally active online at all about 6 months after he last added to the A-37 i got with the others and packaged what we had to release. so that would be a start of precedent with Centurions work
  12. not necessarily, if the Apache is down low and the Cat was dumb enough to join the helo https://theaviationgeekclub.com/attack-helicopter-crews-explain-why-an-attack-helicopter-if-properly-flown-would-defeat-most-fighter-airplanes-in-1v1-air-combat/ a required visual
  13. i think thats a avionics/sound issue not a pit but its the internet. someone will be along shortly if im wrong.....
  14. pit modelers are even rarer these days than aircraft modelers for some sorely needed pits it may be a good idea to go UllyBs route and pay someone to make some aaaaand now im getting an idea, given that i live within 30 minutes of two colleges with game development cirriculums.......
  15. that mostly because the game doesnt support modern avionics too good. so you might be flying a F-35 but restricted to F-14A+ level systems.....
  16. a minor update, am working on serials for Vipers right now. go them all collected, just have to actually organize them, sort out teh ones that dont belong (like a bird that crashed in 87 on an '88 skin.....), from there i gotta decide who's first, the - 52nd TFW (B30s and F-4Gs) - PACAF (1980s Block 30s) - 50th, 86th and 401st TFW (A and C models) - ANG A models (and Kansas Charlies) - TAC Block 15s - TAC Block 10s - 366th Wing (F-15Cs, Es, B-1Bs, KC-135R and F-16s all under one roof) oh and the early 52d FW (F-16, F-4G, F-15 and A-10) but first i gotta drag myself through a few hundred serials putting them in order. I swear going through the site, finding the info and pics was more fun thatn this part
  17. no worries. its not so much a dire need to know as curiousity driving me away from other less fun tasks well that was supposed to post a while ago.............
  18. now what makes you think that? (for those that dont know, v2k's skins are usualy one or two panels. but not 5)
  19. nother curious question (yeah im puzzling this rather than doing the chores i should be doing ) how old is it? what the oldest file date in the entire folder?
  20. still got me but if someone looks in the node name list and sees "Perche" and "Left_vitre" it should give someone a better clue out there. all the modelers have unique signatures when it comes to naming their parts, even if its the couple that leave everything as "cylinder001", "cylinder002" etc!
  21. can you share a pic of the aircraft folder contents and of the whole lodviewer screen? might give us a better clue what you got this is what i mean by whole lodviewer screen, so we can see the info on the top margin as well this directly below this would be good to see too
