Enables slow WW1 planes to attain "warp" quickly Warp at 62MPH rather than 123MPH! Warp is a function in CFS3 to skip to the next waypoint or action quickly. Normally in CFS3 it's 123MPH before you can use it, however with WW1 planes this is a tough speed to make without climbing then diving carefully which can take a few minutes). This program permanently patches SHELL.EXE please make a backup of this file before you run this patch! It can be run at any time on any version of OFF, but once patched you will not need to patch again unless you re-install. This is free, and has had limited testing -so be careful as we can accept no responsibility if something bad happens- if you don't like that idea then do not use it ! No, never did get a reply. Everytime you run a mission, it saves it in your historical folder as off_camp_mission.xml when you run the next mission, it overwrites that file, so you have to copy, rename etc to preserve it. next thing you have to do is open the mission up in mission builder, and make more of the planes flown "flyable", and by flyable, all i mean is that now the planes have cockpits. the ai planes to not have cockpits. If you need help with mission builder, let us know, and ill try and set aside some time to help you out. av8tor,,what plane do YOU fly the most?

Ive got a couple computer repair places on my sales route that save me everything they are going to toss out. Right now I have way too many cd burners, and ethernet cards. Anyone who wants one, all i ask is they pay shipping. Max for the burners would be around 6.00 (the little one rate box), but might be cheaper if i use a padded envelope. Ethernet cards would i assume be around 3 bucks in a padded envelope..(guessing here,,so dont hold me to it). Just picked up around 20 systems, so gotta feeling i may be overloaded with hard drives too, so if your in need of a ata drive (most are 80gig), let me know. And no,,i dont have any good video cards...lol sorry, for the time, would prefer to limit to states only. if customes is not a hassle, will be glad to ship anywhere. A while back suggested we have a sticky for free or swap stuff. Maybe the admins didnt want it to become another "craigs list", but if we kept it to game related, computer related stuff, still think it would be a good idea. pm me if you need anything.

when you are getting into mp,,,deselct the box that says publish my game in cfs3 matchbox..or something close to that...that will stop the login promt

seems that the majority of us cant alt tab out..(xp64 here), so consider yourself fortunate... and not sure what FUD you are referring to, but at this point in time, the is no multiplayer in w7...

this could help out in a couple of areas. first is when we get an error message (like mismatch aircraft) but cant read the stupid thing cause it blends in so much with the background in the popup. I opened the popup bmp in paint, and filled it with white. The same popup background is used for the connecting window. second is obvious. Having a list of ips would be great when getting into mp. I made a text box in paint, entered name and ip, and then saved the whole thing as the appropriate bmp. so if anyone can figure out a way to make a list in word, or excel, and then paste it into something, save as the bmp, it would be great. I tried to do it in paint (paste a table, or a list of names) and it never displayed properly. also realise the white isnt the best looking background, so im sure someone can get a better matching background color. both files are in the cfs3 over flanders fields\uires the alert one is in the alerts folder, and is alert_base.bmp the one for the ips is in the multiplayer folder and is called missionlist.bmp

yes,,,but now that i have my old drivers installed,,,seems like i keep gtting the blue screen of death when i try to install the new drivers (sound familiar??) u need a colon before the 8784,,not a period..will hold off trying drivers till you get on teamspeak

gwar, im sure if you press the issue a bit, you can get some of the off2 players to consider mp. Not sure just how many of them come to the forum thou,,,considering its pretty much just off3 stuff. look at the off2 swap thread, and see who has gotten a copy of off2, and pm them. Maybe you can generate some intereset. I still have a link to the old SOH site for pd's and others off2 missions. gb,,i will try to get on teatmspeak around 8edt (7central) tonight just to get you squared away. Time permitting, we can do some flying. wed will be around 730 edt (6 central)

not saying that this will work, but deleting the uisel.xml file has solved some problems with that can occur with off. it gets rebuilt when you start the game. its in the documents and settings/xxxxxx/application data (appdata in vista)\microsoft\cfsww1 over flanders field where xxxxx can either be administrator, or your user name but as this seems to be a path problem, i would dbl check to see that everything required of off is still in the correct place.

well,,i certainly hope you can make some headway kamikaze. But if your thinking about w7, it might be a very good idea to think about a dualboot system as well...

Deselect that box that says publish my game in cfs3somethingorother.....and you wont get the account promt.. put up a post in the mp section of what days/times are good for you , and someone will be glad to help you out. for sure, read the sticky in the mp forum,,,spells out what you need to have to host/join mp. i have a session planned for wed at 730edt....and might try and get on teamspeak tonight to help out grumpybear....so if either of those times are good for you, let me know

I will make sure i have the addons for the sunday sessions removed from my system so there should be no problem with you joining my games. the only other thing you may want to do is the "fov" settings routine. Keep in mind, this is for players who do NOT change that fov setting. but im sure any problems can be worked out on teamspeak. If i can get on ts for a bit tommorow, ill post it in the forum, and maybe we can hook up.

If any of you w7 users could attempt to host a mp game, would greatly appreciate it. You would not actually need to connect to anyone, just need to see if you can get to the point where your mp game acutally starts. pds tuturial for getting a game is is a great guide.
