damn papy,,you are way out there across the pond,,,lol...was hoping to snag a x52 cheap... i have the x45,,,and i love it so much i watch ebay like a hawk for used ones going cheap......so cant belive you are having so much problem with your x52 i know there is a friction screw for the throttle,,,,but that big spring on the base of the joystick should be enough to pull it back to center when you let go... but,,if you are goiing to deep six the x52,,,let me know how much you want for it,,,

lol..yep...99.9 percent of us have that similar problem,,,,,for some of us,,we can alt tab out,,but cant get back into the game,,and have to do a ttl restart.. here is an option...find your obdsoftware\cfsww1 over flanders fields directory...and locate the cfs3.exe...make a shortcut to it on your desktop. this will start the game up,,but will bypass the off manager,,and you should be able to alt tab out of cfs3.exe... now the way it works doing it thru the shortcut,,if the last thing you did with the off manager was quick combat,,all you will see when you start with the cfs3.exe is the quick combat medal,,,if the last thing you did with the offmangare was a mission, then you should see the mission and multiplayer medal,,,but,,no matter what you get,,,,you should be able to get some game goinng that will let you see how your trackir is working,,and let you get out to make adjustments...

default directory is c:\obdsoftware\etc etc.... so,,if you installed to d,,you should point to d:\obdsoftware... if..for some reason you installed it in a folder called programfiles on your d drive,,,then you would point it to d:\programfiles\obdsoftware if,,for some reason,,you renamed the install directory,,lets say to BHAH,,then you would point it to d:\bhah cant belive the patch install does not have the capability to find the obdsoftware folder,,no matter what drive you put it on,,,gonna assume you either renamed the install directory,,,or,,,you put it in another folder...

am not sure i understand your question correctly.....cfs3.exe IS the game......all off manager does is handle the "dynamix" segment,,,ie..looks at your active pilot, and copies over a ton of stuff in your directory so as to reflect the actual situation you are in. most obviouse would be front lines...weather,,, lol..so,,to try and set antialising in off would only mean you want the lines in the welcome screen crisper... sorry if i misunderstood your question.

im pretty sure i understand what your saying, and therefore, you should just be able to point the upgrade to your install directory.... no??

ut oh....... ive made one mp mission that uses custome skins i got off the download page, and am in the process of making another one. Neither has been made available in the mission forum for download. if i should be putting credits up for these planes, please let me know, and ill be glad to backtrack and get the necessary information.

im sure the exe looks for an obdsoftware directory. any chance you changed the default installationf folder to something else? (not talking about the drives..that should not make a differenct)

lol...nope,,not really... there is the help,,(big question mark when mission builder is open),,,and ive found that the best information is at the end of the help file,,,tuturial..calias cleanup,,or something close to that... if there is something you need assistance with,,,just ask,,,there are enough of us that have labored thru this already that can help.. only thing i can tell you now,in case you havent figured it out,,,is that you have to make your mission title in "briefing and start goals"....the mission shows up in the game how you put it in the title,,NOT the name you give it when you save it... if you are really stumped,,there is always teamspeak...

great missions ax...upload them and i gotta put the screenshot button back on my joystick,,,i coulda gotten a better shot than this,,,,

that jpeg.dll. also resides in your system32 folder. going to assume off looks in its own directory first,,and if finds it stops there...cfs3 may not be the same way, so maybe copy that file that you got into cfs3,,and if that doesnt work,,copy it to system32 (maybe make a backup of the file if it already exists in system32).. and,,fyi,,it also resides in your java folder,,but that file is always bigger than the one in off and system32

when you are trying to get into multiplayer,,,you have to deselct the box that says "register my game with cfs gamematch"...or something close to that... give me a time and date,,and ill do my best to get on teamspeak and help you get started........im in boston (edt)

ax..stump put one up a while back ago,,(a shortcut that worked)....im not sure what forum it was in,,,i looked for it before i posted,,but couldnt find it..

In the near future, will be completing some missions for off that incorporate custom skins for the mission aircraft. As the mission, and all the files that are needed will be incorporated into one package, the end result will be a file at minimum, 25mb. Was not sure if you wanted (or allowed for that matter) files so large uploaded. I do have a file server, so it would be just as easy for me to link to the files on the server, but then again, was not sure if you allowed links. Thanks in advance, duck

patched to 1.32 with g patch,,and have madmatts installer (gives u gotha and zepplin) and watch the mp forum, cause we are going to some addons that you will need to download for the sunday campaign seesions (2pm edt) lol..and,,if you are going to play on sunday,,sorry,,but your gonna have to breakdown and get teamspeak.... everything is in the tuturial in the sticky section of the mb forum

wow,,,i had the exact same problem, but in my case,,,it was a bad usb port on the computer. 2 b honest,,cant see it being that friction screw. any chance you just plugged it into another port,,,and,,if you plugged it into the old one,,,it would still screw up?
