well...would think a complete uninstall would resolve that, make sure you get the off folders in your appdata\local settings\microsoft folder (think that path is correct) but you have to run cfs3 at least once to set up some files before you can install off3

did you run cfs3 at least once before intalling bhah... and that other program installing,,,thats sound wieird...

All you Boys of 60 pilots are more than welcome to join us. Our sunday Campaign sessions are historical, and well structured. While we dont have it down as well as pd did (and probably never will..lol) its still alot of fun. hi,,, get teamspeak, and a mic. althogh its not impossible to assist with posts,,,,its alot easier to do it just talking walmart has some decent mic/headphone combo's. they are in the computer section with the webcams read up on this http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showtopic=38466...it will give you alot of basics and help avoid problems. i will be checking forum today,,,whenever you want to give it a try, post to this thread, and i will be glad to get u up and running...

ok... loading to d should not cause the problem, ive got it that way on my computer. i would do the obviouse first,,,uninstall (if there is an uninstall in off2)........ and im not even sure if the "other" folders that exist in off3 are installed in off2,,,those are the folders that are in documents and settings\xxxxx\applicationdata\microsoft\cfsww1 overflanders fields. xxxxx can either be administrator, or your user name if you have one on the computer....... the path is a bit different for vista..belive it starts out users, and aplication data is appdata in vista. anyways,,if those folders exist,,delete them also.. and...know that off2 got on a torrent somehow,,,so if you got it that way, it could be the problem.. if an uninstall/reinstall still causes the same problem (or any others for that matter)...pm me your address,,and ill get another copy of off2 out to you.

going to ask the usual questions first.. was your cfs3 installed, and patched to 3.1, and run at least once, before you installed off2. Been a while since i did off2, but i belive that versions did not give you the option of telling over flanders fields to get the cfs3 files it need from an install cd, rather than an cfs3 installation. strange that you could not find a cfs3config.exe, cause you should have 2 of them,,one for cfs3,,and one for off2... is this an all english install>?

MadMat could not get into mp in win7..... so if uk could give it a go...(by best impersonation of a brit...) it would be lovely to have a second opinion...

Want to wish pd all the best, and hope everything works out for him. His contributions to the Multiplayer segment of this game have been outstanding. As i have never had the honor of flying with him and the boys of 60, I am sure I will not miss him anywhere near as much as alot of other people here THANKS A MILLION PD!!!

read the sticky in the mp forum for setting up a host game. if the host is running thru a router, ports will have to be forwarded. once the host has a game up, the other computers can join either thru the external ip of the host, (whatsmyipaddress.com) or the internal ip of the host (ipconfig) and,,if you want, you can posts your games in the mp forum so others can join. if you get your game up, try both internal and external ips, but when i did mine i found using the internal ip produced alot of stuttering (not lag,,,the planes just stutter) i have no idea what ipx is....

like to try and get everyone not to make a snap judgement about the issues that gave us problems sunday. gonna assume stump did not have time to set it up in another manner, but if done so, it would be an optional item for everyone to have, and would not cause problems if everyone did not have it. and, it would add another dimension to the game.

fyi....that is a subject they have asked not be discussed here ....its more of a copywrite thing than anything else,,

for what its worth,,,,i got a virus not too long ago, and it was the first time ive ever gotton one that spread...(and damn fast to boot).... first thing it took out was off...(go figure)

lol..unbeilivable,,,, gotta admit,,,i was sure it was that card......... so...chaulk it all up to a bad exe on the cfs3 install disk???...wow..thats unreal.. im not even gonna put that in my "list of things that can possibly go wrong" good work almccoyjr!!

and,,just as a thought,,,i couldnt find a good pic of the 7800 that showed the power pins....but did see that on the 250 it needs a single 6pin pcie connector. does your power supply have one of those,,or did you adapt a 4 pin connctor to run the card...
