  1. was browsing thu some cfs3 downloads, and came across this. http://sim-outhouse.com/index.php?lloc=downloads&loc=downloads&page=info&FileID=1427 he explicity states the file cannot be uploaded, but it does not say it cant be linked to. this looks to me way better than anything i could possible do.
  2. ahhh,,so thats what happened,,,,well..in that case,,i take back everything i said about you....
  3. Hi.. sorry,,i never even knew this thread existed..... ive got several x45s....when you say lights go out,,do you mean all of them? if its all the lites, and if its the same problem i had, it was because of a bad usb port....and switching to another port solved the problem.. if its just the throttle light,,and the joystick lites stay lit,,,,i had that too,,,in that instance it was to due with something bad in the joystick....and the problem took out my trackir too...... and naturally, make sure you thottle connection to the joystick is plugged in good...
  4. As the devs have done such a great job with sunrises and sunsets in the game, I make alot of missions that are start with a nite sky. I noticed that althou there are some constellations that are recognizable, quite a few are missing or incomplete. I have added stars to the stars.xml to complete some of the more prominant constillations. so far, i have added lyra, cygnus, the pleides, and fixed orion and taurus. backup your existing starts.xml in you cfsww1 folder, and replace with this. will be updated as often as i get the time to add stars. If you have a particular constellation you want fixed or added..post... http://bhah.homeip.net:192/pub/stars.xml current as of 12-3-09
  5. Will be on teamspeak around 10ish edt. anyone wantting to fly is welcome. will attemtp to remember to come back here and post fact i am online,
  6. actually,,,his hit deserved a fraps....... i was watching him every step of the approache,,,the first bomb hit the beginning of the bridge,,,and all the rest of the bombs where direct hits,,all the way down the span,,,the last bomb hit the very end of the bridge on the other side... it could not have been any better bombing...
  7. days/times/planes? This is something i thout maybe with practice, we could get good at....but when i set kingkat up,,,we did some loose close flying,,,and i forgot how hard it is..... but, maybe im wrong...... lol..and the devs are gonna add wind in the new upgrade,,,great....
  8. Swan, Daver is hot to send one out to someone.....(post above yours) click on that little tiny icon to the right of his name,,,and then click on the icon that looks like an envelope...and it will open up the pm box...and give them your address...
  9. open the mission up in notepad (you should probably tell windows to always use notepad to open xml files) any planes that say acX (x being 1-5), or sqX, change to sqd. That will make all the planes flyable (ie have cockpits)... if you want, you can just do the side you plan to be on to fly the mission. At the top of the mission,,,find the title line,,,and change it from Campaign date 12/12/1916 (or whatever it says) to something you will identify the mission with. Remember, its not what you save the mission as that determines how it shows up in the game, its whatever is in the title of the mission file. And naturally save it with another fileID. Try to avoid opening up the mission in mission builder, as that sometimes changes altitudes...
  10. terrific,,,, gonna assume the proceedure is the same,,,linksys hasnt changed much over the models.... if you need a hand let me know,,and,,if you put a pssword on the n routher,,be sure to write it down
  11. lol..yep,,,this thread is OLD!!!
  12. lol....gb,,,at the risk of starting to sound like uncleal...there is a sticky for MP, and hosting. unfortunatly,,there are so many different routers out there, it would be impossible to put in proceedures for all of them.... but,,i will add to it,,,what i do (go to portforward.com)...and the links i follow there to get the steps for the various routers.
  13. go a dr appt at 12.....will try and get on when i get back...
  14. was just wondering if it was possible
  15. lol..ok,,,i had already been there,,,just didnt know if the errors you said to look for where in the application (ton of errors there),,,or system,,(some errors,,but not too many)
  16. am i looking in application,,,or system?
  17. lol....ovs..are you still on that mozilla??????? (when you gonna learn)
  18. olpaint,,,try overiding the date to something way different,,, and,,you have to be starting from the off manager,,,and not a shortcut to cfs3.exe..... but if you have it in all those folders,,,pretty much has to work,,,,,,,
  19. ok..already did that,,,and noticed that joystick and trackir are on same hub,,,,stick is drawing 25ma,,,track ir..(not even on,,ie game is not running,) is drawing 256ma bandwith on the usb host controller is 10 on all but one,,,which is 23,,,but i have no idea how to connect which host controller corresponds to which hub (if that connextion can be made) but,,keep in mind,,,BOTH went at once,,,,,, and did update drivers,,(not off the web,,,just told it to update drivers)
  20. Its kinda rough, need ppl that know more about these things than me to fine tune it....
  21. well..for anyone interested...lets pick a day/time thats good for everyone... and if ppl can start thinking about formation "manuvers" they would like to incorporate... but lets agree to take it slow.....when we can take off,,,turn,,and land in sync,,then we can think about doing loops... oh,,picking a plane might be a good idea also.....
  22. cool...when i get at work,,,will look at it and get a screenshot,,then you can tell me what im looking at...
  23. ok...so,,your picking software over mb and power supply?
  24. lol..ok... guess better way of wording it would be precision flying...(you know..blue angels in a biplane,,,,just no pierce the heart stuff)
