saitex x45,,,,,hosta has 2 leds on joystick,,,and one on throttle,,(which,,,just blinked as i was typing,,,,,) would obviously think of it being a joystick issue,,but the trackir acted up the same time the joystick acted up....It will drop me to a red light,,,,i hit resume, and i go green again,,,then it will drop me to a red light again,,, and when it is green,,,when i go to look behind me,,it will stop 1/2 round,,and no matter how much i move my head,,,will not respond,,so im stuck looking out the side of the plane.... same with stick,,i start a bank,,,plane gets stuck at the bank angle its at,, and i cant increse it...,,,(this is all for a split second or 2) lol..and did the event map thing once before,,,,its LOADED with stuff,,,,

Anyone interested in trying formation flying? Would like think about starting off simple,,,take offs,,,turns,,,landing,,,(lol...like thats simple.....) and then swithc to things like going from eschlon to diamond,,etc etc..

would like to think i might be able to get something up around 6ish edt. will not be able to host after 830 (monday nite football)

lol...opps,,may have confused your question,,,,was assuming you meant the 2g tripe,,,,, never had a problem with the tripe,,,just the 2g tripe...

but,,i just saw in your mp post,,,you encountered tripes,,,,, i dont think ive ever been able to get that to work....they didnt show up on tac,,,,and all i ever saw was labels... again,,have to find what i wrote down to be sure,,but pretty sure thats how it played out.

from what i did,,,the tripes didnt crash the mission,,,,they played fine for the host,,and anyone could join,,,but the host was the only one that saw the planes...everyeone else saw funny labels..and no plane underneath. the same for the strutters... the only plane that would crash the mission was the n17lewis... no idea why it would be different on yours... send me the mission,,and ill see what it does here.. meanwhile,,i got a pile of notes,,ill try and find them and see if i can decipher them

Yeah,,im really surprised you didnt get any answers carrick... I dont do campaign,,so i didnt get involved,,but from my experiences from mission building,,if you dont have something that the mission calls for,,,you can get that message... next time it happens,,,go to your cfsww1 over flanders fields\mission\historical folder,,and find the mission called Off_camp_mission.xml ..(or somthing very close to that)...You have to do this before you run another campaign,,or it will overwrite the mission file. go to this link...http://bhah.homeip.net:192/inbox/ click on the upload link,,,and browse to the mission file and upload it... ill take a look at it,,and let you know whats in the mission, and have you check to make sure you have everything in your install that the mission is calling for... other than that,,,i dont have a clue,,,, do remember some talk about dates.....and pilots,,,but wasnt paying enough attention to the posts to be able to tell you much more... maybe you should post this in the general discussion,,,,lotta the campaign guys dont come to general help...(lol...too wrapped up in thier own game i guess)

i have the saitek x45,,,and i have never been able to put the mixture on a rotory,,or axis... as a matter of fact,,if i did assign one of the mixture controls (if you notice,,there are several) to an axis...if i went back into controls the complete assignmnet was now missing from the list of controls that you can assign,,,(if that made sense..)... i did manage to assign a hat swich to mixture,,and when i did,,,i got a slider,,for repeat...moved the slider up all the way,,,so when i hit up,,it gives me cntrl + repeatedly fast,,,and it works pretty good...

ok...should have included... powered hub,,no,,,but everything has always worked fine in the past.. nope,,,everything stays plugged into whatever port they are in. and did move joystick and trackir to front usb from back (which is never a good idea),,,but problems did not go away

am waiting for floor to dry,,,so i can put this place back toghether,,, will be on teamspeak for a bit if anyone want to fly..

seems like my usb devices will stop working for a split second (or longer sometimes),,and then resume.... trackir will pan for a sec as i move my head,,,then stop,,then resume again.,,,,and its dropped me to a red light alot.....(and yes,,have uninstalled and reinstalled) Its to the point where i cant use it anymore.. joystick does the same,,,will be in a turn,,,and it will stop responding for a sec,,then be responsive again...and sometimes in level flight,,the plane will jerk up,,,as if i had pulled back on the stick.....also,,a light (not all of them,,just one), flickers,,and ususally the lack of response accompanyies the flicker.. not sure about the keyboard,,,cause i dont type all that fast.... if you were to guess... software (os) powersupply motherboard.

almccoyjr....if you were to recommend one,,,,which one would you recommend? im pretty good at getting stuff.......

I did some searching for you,,,and did come up with a post that says its a registry issue,,,,but when i searched registry cleaners,,,all i got was "DONT USE THEM!!"....... and,,could be wrong,,but that does not look like a BHAH message,,,, There is a setting in cfs3config...ignore warning boxes..(not to be confused with the one that tells you when you are going to stall..etc..)considering it doesnt affect game play,,,it might make it not show anymore..

well..tried what you said,,and didnt work...put ammo dump in there,,set it a goal..and got dtd tried it again with a new mission, but did not assign a goal to the ammo dump,,i just put a "global facility as goal" in there next to the ammo dump,,mission ran,,but ammo dump was not a goal object... came back this morning,,and tried it again,,,just putting the ammodump in there, and then adding a global facility as goal icon,,,,,and it worked.... hate problems like this....the ones that leave you scratching your head...

Didnt suggetst this to ppl in the past only cause its something ive never tried, (as i have never had the need) and am hesitant to recommend something im not fully familiar with. PortForward.com (very very reputable site), has a port checker utility. Looked at the page, and its simple to run, and gives difinitive results. Would suggest those that appear to have the router set up right, but still cant get ppl to join, to install, and run it. If anything, it will let us know that it is or is not a router issue,,and the problem lies elsewhere.. http://www.portforward.com/help/portcheck.htm ports to check are 2300, 28883, 28884, 28885, 28886, 28887 all in udp if you dont remeber your internal ip, you will have to go back to your command promt and run ipconfig. it will be something in this format. 192.168.x.x

Wow..that was prety good uk.... When i got fsx, i was running a 450mhz dell,,,and was pretty dissapointed in the graphics....that water looks outstanding..... going to assume you are splicing clips? If so what are you using? If its movie maker,,,,might want to see a tuturial on it...(you saw how bad my mvr clip was) and fyi,,to embed a clip,,,the syntax is (media)enter the entire url of the clip here,,inlcuding http(/media) replace () with []

We are providing air and bomber support for an amphibious assault of a fortified beach head.
