  1. Here are some Mustangs. Not bad altogether, but again, some of the physics aren't looking true.
  2. Let's hope the car didn't try to tell him something about his age, eyh? All the best from me too, Mr. Bean - arhm - Blackadder - ahem - Mr. Atkinson!
  3. Yep, that's a point - I guess there are still several craft flyable, so they have some real planes in there. The CGI does look good - until it moves. They should really watch the old original material to understand, how the physics were. They get it even worse with WW1 aircraft.
  4. Why don't they ever get the aircraft to move believeable? You see it's CGI, at first sight. I guess it's because these computer cracks rarely ever see anything REAL happening outdoors???
  5. Well, at least the public relations are good so far - I'm really curious now!
  6. Searching for the title "Brief Glory", I found it doesn't seem to have been translated to German. But it is still available, and I ordered one from AMAZON UK. Thank you for the tip, Dej.
  7. Did you guys set the "Graphics Setup" to your full screen resolution? And did you remember to select 4:3 or 16:10 at the left side in "Workshops"?
  8. Sounds like a forum problem - perhaps you write it here: http://combatace.com/forum/4-bug-reportssuggestions/
  9. An interesting, almost intimate site: http://www.winged-sa...om/gallery.html
  10. Just found this website with a model. http://www.airfieldo...s/mpcandas.html ...and then there was this post over at The Aerodrome: According to Datafile 46 and C&C V.14#2 it is Snipe E8213. It was presented to Canada by the city of Leicester on Jan.21 1919. It was taken on strength by the RCAF on Aug.5 1919. A MR. H. S. Quigley sought permission to borrow it and enter the 1919 Toronto-New York air race. It crashed on Aug.25 in Toronto while being tested prior to the race. Cliff
  11. Nothing is safe in a war. Maps? When they are done, they are already out of date. I have landed more than once on an airfield I thought was ours. But it had been overrun, and I became a PoW. C'est la guerre....
  12. I don't have DH-2 skins for Bristols - neither in the skin folder for Campaigns, nor in the above mentioned 'aircraft' folder - all skins are Bristol Scout, as it should be.
  13. Strange - I checked all Bristol Scout skins in there, and mine are all correct. Do you guys use HitR ?
  14. You're right, Lou - "Leicester" it must be.
  15. Perfect camo against Germans - this camo will confuse the German sence for order so much, that you may have easy work with them, Mack.
  16. The second picture is a keeper, monkey - it captured the drama of the fight, and even the nasty weather adds to that.
  17. Ah, now I found something - the dark brown was added by the British: Unit: Jasta 15 Serial: 4184/17 This is Pfalz D.III of Ufz. Hegeler of Jasta 15. It was one the last Pfalz D.III ever build. The plane has a well documented history: Hegeler was shoot down in this plane on February 26, 1918 by Lt. A. Cowper of 24th. Squadron RFC. Hegeler survived the forced landing and was made prisoner. His intact machine became the subject of several British technical reports. Allocated the British capture number G141, Hegeler's Pfalz was subsequently re-marked with RFC-roundels. The rear fuselage and tail unit was doped in PC10 (dark brown olive). The aeroplane was later displayed at London's Agricultural Hall in Islington between November 1918 and January the following year. (Source: Wings Palette)
  18. Strange - the chocolate brown seems to be only on the left tail side?
  19. No, you didn't.
  20. Thank you, Lou - what does "Likestep" mean???
  21. Wow - that was quick, Lou - thanks! Now, the Snipe in the other thread should be easy then?
  22. Under the cockpit, I read "Likestep Canada" (?); and note the Indian head on the rudder. Who's Snipe was this?
  23. Couldn't find this paint sheme in the "skins" section. This photo seems to have been made by the British side? Who's craft was this?
