  1. Vicshere, welcome at the front! Please send me a PM with your hometown and country, so I can add you to our OFF Pilots Map. Thanks!
  2. Wow! Yes, that's a German warplane - it has that sombre touch, that morbid style. Did you change the nose into blue-grey? Looks good!
  3. Perhaps, if Checksix is right about the box in general, you could give him two, and the one to come up with the company, the third point, Lou? This could have well been the last question, so hard is it. It is even worse to find the right search words for the web, when you're not English speaking. But I don't mind when they get even harder - gives a better chance, when you notice a posting rather late.
  4. In a French SPAD XIII mission by the north sea, I have shot Herr Meier down. Great fun - and a huge splash he made in the salty water!
  5. RedDog, even if it might be wrong: superb guess; sounds very good!
  6. Ah, good! Now zatt iss cleared, could vee - pleeese - carry on viss der war? In only four years to fight it, vee may need some better concentrashion on der fightink, Gentlemen!
  7. Mein lieber Baron von Stachel You could not hav pleezed me more zan vizz zeese secret photographs, you ant Herr Fokker hav made. You hav done a great job on der Hochdecker, as I can see, ant I can hardly await it'z arrival at ze front. You have even ssought of paintink one of zemm for MFJ1 - zatt muszt bee mine? When ze craft is as good as Anthony said last week, it vill bee der Razor to cut all ze crumpetz off zeir strings, so to say. Ant to vinn ze war!! Keep up your good workz, Otto - vee vill hopefully meet soon over Flanders. Mit den allerbesten Gruessen Baron von Mahlo
  8. The Dark Side usually builds up an impressive image. Great uniforms, great weapons, great and dark technology. Here is some fun made of that: Enjoy!
  9. Now I know that I'm not the only crazy one. Certainly not.
  10. They have added rows of crop like corn or barley on some fields. So I should think, it's simply that?
  11. I don't know, Zoomzoom - I couldn't find any pics looking like this, under those key words. So, it may be something very different...
  12. My above "Texture Info" had shown the wrong settings. I had to make a CFS3 Reset some days ago, which had reset them too. Now, the settings shown above are right, and as recommended by the devs. Thank you, Bird Dog - good you noticed!
  13. You are right, BirdDog - I had to make a "reset CFS3" some days ago, and not really been flying much since. Yours are the settings I used to have - the reset must have messed them up again. I'll change the screenshots in the other post. Thanks for posting!
  14. Did he make you afraid now, Carrick? (He must love that - Lol!) Well, as he said - the "dark side" is not fixed or limited to a specific country. You can be on the dark side everywhere - or you don't. So let that not keep you from trying the DIII or any other Albatros - they are great fighters, when you do the RIGHT things in them. They are not purely energy fighters, but rather a pretty good mix of energy and turn fighter. Not perfect on either of these - but so good on both, that you can beat any enemy craft of the same time. When you do the right things, and avoid, what is wrong. Search for the Dicta Boelcke in the web or here, in the Tips & Cheats or where it was. And follow those rules, if you want to live.
  15. Update 09/03/09 17:25 Berlin time (GMT +2) Cash, Germany, added. the maps are in post 1 of this thread
  16. Thank you, Lou. I will download them now, as you all seem very excited.
  17. Only saw these S.E.5s today, Sandbagger - the look really cool! So the Brits had a little more colour than I always thought. Can't wait to shoot one down - sorry, SB!
  18. Jim, you can still guess something else - one may win.
  19. Although I couldn't find the pic anywhere, I make my guess now. I say, it's a box for wireless morse code radio communication from aircraft to ground. The propellor is linked to a dynamo for the energy, driven by the wind. The company I guess: Marconi Wireless Company
  20. Welcome back at the front, Blue! As you said, it's almost a new sim now (and definitely no game anymore). I hope to see you here more often in future; and wish you as much pleasure with BHaH as I find over Flanders Fileds.
  21. Thanks for the tip, Cameljockey! I'll add that above.
  22. I run the ATI Radeon X1900
  23. For ATI card users only (thanks for the tip, Cameljockey): Since even some veterans here didn't seem to have the "graphics" settings right, I want to encourage you to check the "overrides" and "texture info" settings, as I have chosen them. Maybe they are much the same as the devs had already recommended, but many didn't see that or didn't even know, these settings could be changed. You may perhaps get a lot more eyecandy and better performance. [OvS - edited title as I will be adding this thread to the Knowledge Database! Nice one Ohlam!!]
  24. Widowmaker, I had three British pilots, but lost all pilots, when something got messed up and I was only left to reset CFS3. One of them, Darius Marlowe, flew the Tripe with RNAS-10 from Droglandt. He had shot down 4 Albatros DV already. Second was David Oldham, I think that was the Camel pilot; flew with 65 RFC from Bailleul, late 1917. He had downred 5 Albatros DV from Jasta 35. And Douglas McMarlowe flew the Brisfit (can't find him in the logs right now, so I don't know from where/what squadron). He had bombed a train successfully. I also had French and American pilots, but as I said - all lost. But I will do new ones. Do you have recommendations for each British craft, when and where to fly it, if I want good action?
  25. None of the above links work for me to watch the flim instantly - no matter if I choose "open with Windows Media Player" - it always goes to download of the file. And for the download, it estimates more than two hours! So, could anyone post the WHOLE written link line for me to copy and paste into the box? But it must all be visible -not as a link, please?
