    I will love both III and V, after all the Portuguese can use a III as a interceptor too. Of course the modder decides what to do, and I will be happy with anything it comes.

    Found this profiles on a magazine centered on the Mirage III/V family. They say Portugal intended to buy some Mirages III in the 70's, can be cool, together with IIIR and some V too.

    Wait, the Il-102 first flight was in 1982 cause it lost the competition with the Su-25, If the competition winner has been the Il, the first flight would have occured like in 1975 or so, just like the Su-25, so the Il-102 is perfectly useable in 1977 If you ask me. BTW, what is this new plane? Looks a bit like a Mirage F.1 but for the Aeronavale?

    Being a "what if", maybe you can add Su-25 wings to the Yak-36 giving it more punch? Look my last pic. Th Il-102 first flight was in 1982.

    This one is huge, Su-25 competitor, the Ilyushin 102: Always loved the Yak-36, maybe with a different wing (ala Su-25 straight wing), conventional take off and landing and conventional landing gear too, can be a nice strike aircraft: Something like this:

    Well If you're doing it for Paran can work, even in 1977, after all it would be a jet powered variant and Paran don't really need the last of the line in technology. Can work properly as a COIN aircraft too. But If you don't think it fits I will search for more ideas, I like your campaign idea a lot.

    No idea if you'replanning to build somethin new, but what about a jet powered Il-20?

    Red "Mud mover" can be a Su-22 with a proper skin. No idea about the F4E replacement sorry.
