True. I've some hopes with Evochron Mercenary. It's a space simulation with some unique game concepts. The mix of MP and SP, I think it's very unique. I was in their forum in the other day, and someone asked for help because he was lost in space?!?! The guys told him to connect to the server and they would help him. The first one his a classic, a masterpiece in terms of computer gaming. The story, the gameplay, the graphics (at the time) were superb. When I tried to play the second one, it didn't last more than one hour inside my computer. Now the third... honestly I've a lot of doubts. The story might be good, and like the trailer shows, it's breeding cyberpunk. But the gameplay, I don't expect to be as good as the legacy. We live in a console world. Only if it was exclusive to PC, we could have hope. Auto regeneration, cover system and shooting not being stat-based, already means, it's a dumb down from the original. I've dual boot and have it installed in both systems, XP and Win7. With OFF and in my rig, I've less TrackIR stuttering with XP than with Win7. So I play OFF more often in XP.
