  1. Do not forget that the SF series are jet / props aircrafts simu. That means the AI engine in the game will handle any flying craft like a "plane". That's why they will "always" nose up or down to gain or loose altitude whatever the FM. Now about the ability for AI to flight straight with copters, you can see in my two vids, they perfectly fly clean ;-). And it was done with SFP1 series 4 years ago.
  2. Actually it can be done ( ) but you will need a lot of trials and errors. And AFAIR Marcelo Mi-8 was able to land. More "funky" AI landing at the end of this vid :-)

  8. Unfortunately for us, Old Diego canceled the Cobra project at the moment... In fact, we mainly need attack / combat choppers for the gameplay. TK's series game engine doesn't use TRANSPORT type of mission. So we have: A109A Alouette 3 Gazelle Mi-8 (we can mod it to do a Mi-17) The coming AH-64A
  9. Thinking about something... What about adding Greece "1st Attack Helicopter Battalion" and "2nd Attack Helicopter Battalion" near "Stefanovikio" (coord 242911.000,726941.000) ? Would be great to be able to fly Dels coming AH-64A on this map
  10. Did a little spin over Aksaz Naval Base and found the helipad but unfortunately there is an issue (see attached vid). I think it's a game engine limitation helipad.wmv

Well, According to official public data, the M2K-RDM acceleration from Mach 0.9 @ 36,000 ft with Two Infrared Missiles and 50% Internal Fuel at full AB Power are: Mach 1.85 after 2 minutes and Mach 2.17 after 3 minutes. According to my test in SF2E patched JUNE 2010 on HARD MODE, the TMF-M2K-RDM acceleration from Mach 0.9 @ 35,000 ft with Two Infrared Missiles and 50% Internal Fuel at full AB Power are: Mach 1.85 after 2 minutes and Mach 2.14 after 3 minutes. About the manueverability, RL data are of course classified but according to my test in SF2E patched JUNE 2010 on HARD MODE, with a clean configuration, 50% Internal Fuel, 330 kts @ SL, the TMF-M2K can reach 6.5G in sustained and more than 9G in instantaneous... I'm pretty sure those values are "almost" realistic. How do i know,well I can tell you but then I have to kill you :-)))
  19. Of course... As soon as I find a way to fix the "kangooroo bouncing" issue when you start the mission on the ground. @rscsjsuso5 You seem not to have the problem with your version with the series 1.
  20. Hehe... The crash was avoided by miracle. I wanted to takeoff smoothly but was surprised by the lift off effect. I think this bird is not supposed to takeoff from moving carrier
