  1. I've actually developed a "Smokey SA-8" for testing purposes. Nothing conclusive, though if you do get hit, you just get the effect, much like the AA-11 I did. Only thing is if it hits you, I'm guessing game logic is a culprit since once it shoots at me, either hits or misses, it doesn't fire anymore. Not sure if the SF2E SA-8 is a one shot wonder or what... but it wasn't like I was dodging it either. Anyways, here's a screenie of me being hit by one: EDIT: I figured out the problem, it shoots at you pretty well, had to adapt it for the SA-8B and it fires as it should. Forgot about the upgrade issue. Anyways, it uses the same missile so if you get tagged, it just explodes, no damage.
  2. That's what I thought... I downloaded the "Summer" version and felt the same. Too bad Wrench is being an old geezer and not completing his one he posted last year, or earlier this year...
  3. That was one of my ideas JAT But I'm sure if you ask him he'll help you since I'm not real good with the ini portion, or at least the startup of the aircraft.

  12. This is a port from a LOMAC skin I did a couple years back, Domna AB CO's bird, time unknown (have to dig out my books and find the specific reference), just have to add a couple things and she'll be good to go.

  15. As an artilleryman, my only nitpick is that SmallBombEffects is more appropriate but still great work!

  17. No problem and thanks! Just remember to mod the other anti-radar missiles too. SF2 adds alot of nitpicky things but overall it adds alot to the immersion factor, and to me puts more research into the weapon, plane, etc. now.
  18. You have to model it so the wingstation will show up, but it is in the works.

  22. It has nothing to do with the aircraft, it's the weapon itself. Planejunky check your AGM-88D values, particularly here: MinFreq=2.000000 MaxFreq=40.000000 If what you see in your AGM-88D_DATA.ini is both zeros for these values, copy and paste and it'll start hitting. However, it depends too on how many SAM systems are on the map (Afghanistan map is a good one), so there is a possibility of it getting "confused" and simply not hitting anything.

  24. As far as I know there isn't, and not sure to be honest with you if it's been even tried.
  25. Ehh... I've done some snapshots with it, but you have to hit "R" to target the aircraft (if Red Crown calls it up) then you can do such a thing, or if your backseater calls it too. Gimbal rate determines how fast the seeker locks onto the target, so when you hit F4 to padlock the target, the weapon will do it's thing, and you can do such a thing. The TW sims doesn't model modern HMS systems very well... Well it's not even a function, so doing that is the best way to "replicate" such a move.
