  2. While Photoshop is at the high end of the cost spectrum (CS4 is the latest) and Paint Shop Pro and Adobe Photoshop Elements are at the mid-range, though I think Corel still has a program out...?
  3. I should have caught it myself suicidal, but looking over the -80, he is right, as the -60 doesn't have the improvements the -80 obviously has, and my version, the -80A, is a version of the BTR-80 only with a 30mm turret.

  6. Yes create a "Guns" folder in the same folder that is with your Weapons folder, and place the 25MM_GAU-22A in the SF2 package in there.
  7. Oh I know those were correct, just I think lindr2 overexaggerated a few ranges on some.
  8. Is it the SF1 or SF2 version? If you are using the SF1 version, you have to manually add the 25mm gun information to the GUNDATA.INI, if it is for SF2 put the 25MM_GAU-22A folder in the Guns folder, fire it up and you should be chopping fools with it.

  11. I think some of it's on the Red end as well, such as a Alamo-A R-27 having an effective range of 100 kilometers, when in actuality the real range is way below that. But I don't want to get into a debate about it. Having helped him with some of the SF2 tweaks that MigBuster described in the KB... I think that should be on the individual but then again, I would think if you were going to request some tweaks to US and Red weapons (and others), it may be easier to tweak it and send it to him, therefore reducing some of the workload. Considering I have 1867 weapons on my install... I don't think that I'm going to spend my time tweaking ALL the weapons (even though a few are custom designed myself), but the option is out there.

  13. It's not a specific version, it's included with the 1 and 2 packages, it's just the SHARP pod store.
  14. Best thing to do man is to re-download, or delete what you got because I flew it out of the box yesterday and got 650 knots and while not exactly flying high, I got above 120FT.

    Since I'm not good with vehicle skins I did a cheapie and went with what I have. Template .bmp included. For SF2 but readme has instructions for adapting for SF1 series. Model by Razvan Stanciu cheap texture by EricJ.

  20. Managed to check this out in SF2E... a little tweaking is involved, due to LOD naming and etc. But checking some references online, it was the SEA camo with the Orange markings. Not hard to do but its nice to have a dedicated target, even though using the BQM-34 Firebee from the Range map still works too.
  21. Guns are setup to work like the weapons, so if it came with a "Gun" put that folder in the Guns folder, or create one in the Mod folder, in "Objects". If done correctly the game should read the new gun and it will be available for use.
  22. Not sure why you edited the engines anyways... straight "out of the box" it works fine...
