  1. It's probably the targeted aircraft notching or beaming. Sometimes I get a good solid hit from a notch or beam hit, or sometimes I miss. It's not just you

  9. STORM requested this months ago... and I'm sorry for a delayed response... but its been a bit since I dropped some paint... I've got four reference shots so far. I'd like to check out more if there's around, if somebody's Google-Fu is better than mine...
  10. It should mean that if it hasn't hit a target within 120 seconds, it should self detonate... I don't have Bunyap's manual handy, but that's a good enough guess.

  13. Well honestly I was thinking more of a more modern scenario but that could work too... Well that would be a good scenario if played right. So Saigon does it's thing, and now you got one US airfield in Vietnam, while you run strike and other missions from the Thailand bases, etc. The GermanyCE map still has Templehof (if my brain serves me right) as "Friendly", which has played hell when playing the Red side when on finals to another field.

True... unfortunately the shadow issue is another problem, as it's setup for 1st gen, so you get the "shadow lines" coming from the aircraft, along with the F version, but I'll fix the decal issue anyways. But it is nice yes Although with the fuselage conformal tanks doesn't help with maneuverability but makes it nice because I got longer "legs" for missions.
  15. Well I know I included some of the Su's and MIGs.... but it's really been so long since I touched it so.. if you want to edit it I'm cool with it.
  16. Was egressing back to Da Nang and some solitary MiG-21 driver thought he was slicky boy by coming up from behind me. WSO said I had a bogey on my six, so I turn around and loose off one 9X. It misses but I saw it was going for him so I turned back and continued to egress. I got a better visual after my WSO's second call, so I padlocked him and popped him with my remaining 9X. Times like this make you enjoy a beautiful snapshot and makes you want to say "Frakkin MiGs!"
  17. Erm yeah... been trying to redo the UAE F-16E and F versions to SF2 standards. Ini edits work fine, works fine in game... only can't find the texes that go to the nozzle, and other bits.. Any help? Textures I'm looking for: TailEngCockpGea.bmp I think this is the only one.. anybody have it? Or where its at?
  18. Nah man, just drag the .cat file over the program and it'll create a new folder. Only thing is I'm not sure which one it is so enjoy...
  19. Well I'm quite sure that the coordinates are generally the same. The Ground War Expansion just needs additional stuff, I've had a blast (literally and figuratively) with the new additions, so it's good as it is. Only thing is to maybe add some more modern SAMs into the mix, the SA-3s and -2s... well they're cute, but maybe a resurgent North Vietnam starting to buy more of that stuff. And can you take over airfields in campaigns? I don't know if you can, but I got another twist. A unified Vietnam but as it stands a Communist ones looking to grab more territory or just needing a beat down, and therefore an invasion style scenario?

  25. I wish TE was alot more user friendly, and a bit more advanced (3D viewing, etc) or else I'd have targetted up the whole country (well as much as possible until now). Too bad you can't have a target in each village or so on, or set it up to put one in each village... this place is so dynamic that you can only of course do so much..
