View File IAe 33 Pulqui II IAe FMA 33 Pulqui II REDUX This is a complete overhaul of Foxmonters Pulqui II, it is a relativley old model, so there are a few minor issues with the skin, ie, it was designed for SF1 I think, and as there are zero templates available, I had to make my own, and try and figure out wher bits an pieces are supposed to go. Anyhow, I have completely reworked the skins, new panels and rivets, updated the engine and flight characterisics ( I used the engine and flight stats from the Venom) I have replaced the frankly bloody awful cockpit with the one from the Mystere V, which I think is actually the F84 pit. The aircraft now has drop tanks from the Vampire, I was going to add other weapons, but as there are no pylons for this model, and I did NOT want to use the "fake pilot" method, is is purely a gun armed bird. There are 6 new skins, 2 Argentine, camo and NMF, 2 Egyptian again camo and NMF 1 Dutch example in green over blue, and finally a Dhimari recce bird in NMF with a sand upper fuselage. I have not redone the Argentine prototype aircraft, as I think it looks crap, so if you want that skin, get the original aircraft, and revell in its utter ugliness The orginal also had a Parani skin, but I feel that it would be more likely for Dhimar to use this aircraft, as it is not a WARPAC plane, also the Egyptian, and Dutch aircraft are the only other skins I have done as no one else actually ordered the Pulqui ( although the orders wer ultimately cancelled, so they ARE what if skins ) I have included an alternative pit, the one from the Vampire, however, you will have to piddle around with it, as the view of the wings from the cockpit seat is rather dreadful, but it's there if you wish to use it insted of the Mystere pit. all the decals have been re done, and of course are included in the package, I have applied spurious stencilling in various places on the airframe, however they are in Polish ( I think ) as I lifted them from the Mig-15, but hey its only window dressing right !!! The sounds are also included, make sure to ammend you soundlist.ini so they work. So read the read me file and the add to soundlist files and you should be frosty. I have just notiiced I forgot to include the sound for the Gun in the Sounds folder, even though I did put it on the soundlist.ini addition. so please add the sound file attached below. Any questions please feel free to message me. As always............................ENJOY WW2_Gun_20_Cannon.wav Submitter Trotski Submitted 07/11/2025 Category Other Origin

AS ever, being blunt and to the point, seems to offend folks, the chuckle worthy issue is that the chap who actually posted in the first place, was not offended at all, it was another chap, making a mountain out of a mole hill. One does not need to apologise for speaking fact, or being a bit blunt. This seems to be the current trend in the world today, where we have to apologise for everything, all the time, even when what has been said is not couched in terms that are "acceptable" to people with thin skin. -
Can we say that the Russian Air Force is no longer that powerful?

Only because there are a lot of them. not because of their technical acccumen, or their crew competence. -
Can we get the boards fixed PLEASE!!!!????
Trotski replied to Wrench's topic in Site Support / Bug Reports / Suggestions
Well let us hope all is well with him, and it is just the mundane real life interferring with his normal routine. But yeah, Kev is right, it has been a bit of a chore going into forums and the down load section. As Menrva says though, it probably wont be a cheap fix, if it server issues, which it looks to be the case. -

As an ex Serviceman, from a 3 generation military family, My Grandfather lied about his age, and joined the Gloucestershire Regiment in 1915, when he was only 15, wounded in action on the Somme in 1916, and carried the scars and horrors of the trenches for all his days, My Father joined the RAF in 1940 as a Flight Engineer. and flew in B24's in Costal command, and remained in the RAF until 1977 as first a trainee pilot on B29 Washingtons, until the RAF thought it was a great idea to insist all Pilots and Navigators had to have a commision, at which point my Father reverted back to Flight Engineer, as he had no desire to be an Officer. He retiired as one of the Senior Master Engineers in Transport Command., after leaving Bomber Command, and moving across to Trasport Command, He flew "sneaky Beaky " missions over Germany in a Chipmunk, apparently as a "Check Pilot" for trainees.......Hmmmm ok, then flew in Vallettas, Hastings, Brittannias, and finaly the Short Belfast. My Mother was in the WAAF during WWII gaining the lofty rank of LAC, and demobbed after VE day in 1945. I Joined up in 1976, went for training as a Telegraphist, I hated it, so went for a remuster board, however, there were no open trades at the time so they offered me a General Duties position, which I declined ( Very politely believe it or not ) So the discharged me on the proviso I returned to my local Recuitment Offoce within 12 months, and I would be accepted back in a new trade immediately. So, I joined the local TAVR unit ( Territorial Army Volunteer Reserve) and served in the Wessex Regiment as a signaller, until I went and re enlised in the RAf in 1978 as a proud member of the Rock Apes ( RAF Regiment) Serving in many different places, including Northern Ireland, Bosnia, Germany and Cyprus, with a little holiday in Iraq at the end of my service life. I wouldn't change a thing. Yes there were shitty times, yes there were losses, yes there were great times, and yes there are fabulous memories. So, I raise a glass, to ALL Warriors, in the air, on land, and at sea or under it. It matters not from what country you come from, or what flag you defend, at the end of it all, we are ALL BROTHERS and SISTERS in Arms I salute you all past, present, and future.................................PER ARDUA

Same here for the past 2 days, a site not secure popup, and then, today it just takes a long time to load in and to access anything. -
I agree, a worthy successor to Cold Waters, which is still great anyhow.

A good few hopefully excellent releases coming this month, Farming Sim 25 today, Naval Combat also today, then Planet Coaster 2, Microsoft Flight Sim 2025, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Heart of Chernobyl later this month as well, I can feel my wallet groaning already !!

My respected collegues in infamy, ommitted to mention Wings over Fladners field, and First Eagles 2 if you would like to try the wings and wrapping paper flying experiece, IL2 Forgotten Battles series is also very good.

Well what would be encouraging there, would be the fact that the former "CNC widow" has not disposed of said CNC apparatus, and therefore may even be a closet model maker/Flight sim affectionado....................In the words of a famous Vukcan, Fascinating.

I find myself in a situation, of having too many choices, and no conclusions. I want to splash out on a new HOTAS setup, and I have settled on 2 options out of 3, the 3 being, VKB, Winwing, and Virpil respectivley. I have pretty much binned the Virpils, as I believe that the Winwing/VKB choices are much better ( Of course I could in fact be misguided here ) So it is down to a choice between VKB, the ridiculously expensive option, and Winwing, the les ridiculously expensive option, I like the look of both these HOTAS setups, except for the VKB rudder, which I do not like at all, and it would also add a fair old price hike if I went with VKB, as I would still have to order the Winwing rudders, ofr the Virpil one. I would be interested in anyones input on this matter, if any one has experience on these 3 setups, I would enjoy your input. I am currently rocking the X52 pro Hotas, and Saitek rudders. I feel it maybe time to upgrade my sorry arse to something more.....Professional but I find myself in somewhat of a quandry HELP !!!

Oh and just a quick disclaimer, that previous comment was aimed squarely at my good and beloved mate Ron, before any of you oh so helpful bloody lot get yer knickers in a twist
-
GRRRRR !!!!!...................You bloody lot are about as helpful as a dose of the Clap !!! hahahahahahaha
-
Well, I am overwhelemed with the amount of "help" I have been given here.............( OOPS was that sarcasm ? ) I have decieded to ignore EVERYONES comments, and have gone with VKB Throttle, Stick, and Rudder.
-
I did play with that idea, however, it is a plastic gimbal based system, for the stick at least, and for what it is, ie first gen "advanced" Hotas, is still rather expensive, so that is a no I fear. I am aware that the stick can be modified etc, but I cnnot be messing around with fixing the issues with the gimbal on a stick. Thanks for the input though.

Fokker Dr.I, Camel and S.E.5a pitching up uncommanded

No, it is good that you ask questions, if you do not ask them, you remain unaware of things, never stop learning I say !!! Happy Flying mate. -
Fokker Dr.I, Camel and S.E.5a pitching up uncommanded
Trotski replied to Azzmonden's topic in Thirdwire - First Eagles 1&2
That is because a lot of WWI aircraft were inherrently Tail Heavy, and as there was no trim at the time, they were not EVER flown hands off, becaause of the need for forward pressure on the stick. The DR1 was definately one of these, so is modelled correctly. It is the same in WOFF as well by the way. -
